The method includes: determining the actual slope and actual inertia parameters of the road on which the current vehicle is located, determining the actual ramp parameters of the drive motor based on the actual slope, and determining a reference drive current based on the actual ramp parameters and the actual inertia parameters, using the actual acceleration deviation and the reference drive current to determine the target drive current, and driving the current vehicle to accelerate based on the target drive current. The technical solution of the embodiment of the present invention can output the target drive current to drive the vehicle to accelerate according to the predetermined acceleration curve, realizing self-adjustment of the vehicle when loaded and climbing, and can achieve the same top speed and acceleration performance when driving alone, carrying people, and climbing with load or driving on flat roads, improving the driving experience and safety of the electric vehicle.
