Abstract
Description
[Technical Field]
[0001] This invention relates to a battery box for an electric motor vehicle, and more particularly to a battery box for an electric motor vehicle that can be used to load and secure a battery. [Previous Technology]
[0002] In view of the intensified global warming caused by climate change, the global demand for environmental sustainability and energy conservation and carbon reduction continues to increase, which has accelerated the development of motor vehicles towards electric drive. By installing batteries in motor vehicles to provide the electrical energy required for the operation of electric drive motors, the problem of air pollution can be solved and the benefits of net-zero carbon emissions can be achieved.
[0003] In order to securely install the battery in an electric motor vehicle, the vehicle body is usually equipped with a battery box, which includes an outer shell, a top cover and a locking member. One side of the top cover is pivotally connected to the outer shell, and the top cover can close to the outer shell and be locked to the outer shell by the locking member. However, during the battery replacement process, the top cover can only be opened and closed on one side and cannot be completely removed. Therefore, it is easy to interfere with the top cover when disassembling and assembling the battery, which makes the operation more inconvenient.
[0004] Therefore, a battery box that is easy to disassemble and assemble has been developed. One side of the top cover is detachably inserted into the outer shell, so that the top cover can be completely removed from the top of the body, giving the user more operating space when changing the battery. In addition, the locking member is pivotally mounted on the opposite side of the outer shell. In order to facilitate the user's operation, the locking member is designed so that its end can be elastically fastened to the top cover to lock the top cover to the outer shell. However, when the user is driving on bumpy roads, the battery box will be continuously subjected to vibration and impact, resulting in the locking member still being insufficient in terms of fastening firmness. [Summary of the Invention]

The battery box 1 of the electric motor vehicle includes a shell 10, a top cover 20 and a plurality of hook structures 30.
[0009] As shown in Figures 2 to 4, the outer casing 10 has a body 11, and an upward-facing accommodating space 111 is formed inside the body 11. The accommodating space 111 can accommodate the battery 3, and at least one mating part 12 and a plurality of fastening parts 13 are respectively provided on opposite sides of the body 11 and near the opening.
[0010] As shown in Figures 2 to 4, the top cover 20 is detachably disposed on the top of the body 11. The top cover 20 has a cover body 21. At least one insertion protrusion 22 and a plurality of connecting parts 23 are provided on opposite sides of the cover body 21. The insertion protrusion 22 can be inserted into the mating part 12.
[0011] As shown in Figures 2 to 4, the interior of the mating part 12 of the outer shell 10 has an opening facing the mating space 121 of the body 11. The insertion protrusion 22 can extend into the mating space 121 of the mating part 12 and abut against the inner top surface of the mating part 12.
[0012] As shown in Figures 3 to 7, each hook structure 30 includes a locking member 31 and a hook member 32. The locking member 31 is pivotally mounted on the connecting part 23, and the hook member 32 is pivotally mounted on the locking member 31. The hook member 32 can engage with the fastening part 13 of the outer shell 10. The locking member 31 can pivot and keep the hook member 32 engaged with the fastening part 13 of the outer shell 10.
[0013] As shown in Figures 3 to 7, each hook structure 30 includes a first fixing member 33 and a second fixing member 34. The locking member 31 has a first pivot portion 311, a second pivot portion 312 and a stop protrusion 313. The hook member 32 extends arcuately toward the outer shell 10 and has a set of connecting portions 321 and a hook groove 322. The first fixing member 33 passes through the first pivot portion 311 of the locking member 31 and the connecting portion 23 of the upper cover 20. The second fixing member 34 passes through the second pivot portion 312 of the locking member 31 and the set portion 321 of the hook member 32. The hook groove 322 of the hook member 32 can be engaged with the fastening portion 13 of the outer shell 10. The stop protrusion 313 can abut against the connecting portion 23 of the upper cover 20 when the hook member 32 is engaged with the fastening portion 13.
[0014] As shown in Figures 5 and 8, the outer casing 10 has a plurality of elastic members 14, and the side wall of the body 11 has a set of annular portions 112. The plurality of elastic members 14 can be spaced apart in the set of portions 112, and the plurality of elastic members 14 can partially extend into the accommodating space 111 of the body 11 and abut against the battery 3.
[0015] As shown in Figures 5, 8 and 9, the assembly portion 112 of the body 11 has a plurality of through holes 113. The assembly portion 112 has a plurality of snap-fit blocks 114 protruding downward from the upper edge of the plurality of through holes 113, and a plurality of stop blocks 115 protruding upward from the lower edge of the plurality of through holes 113. Each elastic member 14 has a snap-fit groove 141 and a stop groove 142 arranged opposite to each other, and an abutting portion 143 located on one side of the snap-fit groove 141 and the stop groove 142. The plurality of elastic members 14 are respectively passed through the plurality of through holes 113. The snap-fit groove 141 can be engaged with the snap-fit block 114. The stop groove 142 can abut against the stop block 115. The abutting portion 143 of the plurality of elastic members 14 can extend into the receiving space 111 of the body 11 and abut against the battery 3.
[0016] As shown in Figures 5 and 6, the top cover 20 has a plurality of buffer pieces 24, and the cover body 21 has a plurality of spaced-apart assembly parts 211. The plurality of buffer pieces 24 are respectively disposed at the bottom of the plurality of assembly parts 211 and abut against the top of the battery 3. Each assembly part 211 has at least one fastening hole 212 at its bottom, and each buffer piece 24 has at least one upwardly extending fastening part 241 at its top. The fastening part 241 can extend into and fasten to the fastening hole 212.
[0017] As shown in Figures 8 and 9, when assembling the battery 3 into the battery box 1 of the electric motor vehicle of this invention, the user can first place the battery 3 in the accommodating space 111 of the main body 11. Since the protruding length of the abutting portion 143 of the plurality of elastic members 14 toward the accommodating space 111 of the main body 11 is greater than the fitting gap between the inner wall of the main body 11 and the battery 3, and the plurality of elastic members 14 are made of elastic materials such as rubber, the end of the abutting portion 143 can be compressed to tightly abut against the side wall of the battery 3, so that the peripheral wall of the battery 3 can be positioned.
[0018] Next, as shown in FIG6, the user can further close the top cover 20 onto the top of the body 11. When closing, the user can tilt the side of the top cover 20 with the insertion protrusion 22 downward so that the insertion protrusion 22 can be aligned with the mating part 12 of the outer shell 10 and inserted into the mating space 121. Then the user can close the other side of the top cover 20 onto the top of the body 11. At this time, the insertion protrusion 22 can abut against the inner top surface of the mating part 12 so that one side of the top cover 20 can be connected and positioned with the body 11.
[0019] Furthermore, as shown in Figures 6 and 7, since the multiple hook structure 30 has a dual-axis structure, the user can further rotate the hook member 32 of the multiple hook structure 30 around the second pivot 312 as the axis, and simultaneously cooperate with the first pivot 311 to rotate the locking member 31 around the first fixing member 33 as the axis, so that the hook groove 322 is located in a position that can be fastened into the fastening part 13 of the outer shell 10. Then, the user rotates the locking member 31 around the first pivot 311 as the axis, so that the locking member 31 moves closer to the top of the cover 21 until it is flush with the cover 21. At this time, the position of the hook member 32 will be moved along with it, so that the hook groove 322 can be tightly fastened to the fastening part 13 of the outer shell 10, thereby securely locking the upper cover 20 to the top of the body 11.
[0020] Furthermore, as shown in Figures 5 and 6, since the top surface of the plurality of buffer sheets 24 is attached to the bottom of the plurality of mounting parts 211, and the thickness of the plurality of buffer sheets 24 is greater than the fitting gap between the mounting part 211 of the cover 21 and the battery 3, and the plurality of buffer sheets 24 are also made of elastic materials such as rubber, when the top cover 20 is closed and locked to the body 11 through the plurality of hook structures 30, the bottom surface of the plurality of buffer sheets 24 can be compressed to tightly abut against the top of the battery 3, so that the gap between the bottom of the plurality of mounting parts 211 and the battery 3 is filled, thereby positioning the battery 3 to prevent it from shaking up and down, and fixing the battery 3 in the battery box 1.
[0021] Therefore, as shown in Figures 5, 6 and 8, when the user is driving on a bumpy road, the plurality of elastic members 14 and the plurality of buffer pieces 24 have compressible and resilient material properties to provide good cushioning force, and are respectively located between the battery 3 and the assembly part 211 of the body 11 and the cover 21. The peripheral wall and top of the battery 3 are abutted and positioned to reduce the vibration of the battery 3, and at the same time, they can buffer the impact force generated by the collision between the battery 3 and the inner wall of the body 11 and the assembly part 211 of the cover 21, thereby reducing the damage to the battery 3.
[0022] In addition, as shown in Figures 6 and 7, when the user needs to replace the battery 3, he can first move the locking member 31 away from the top of the cover 20 with the first pivot 311 as the axis, and then rotate the hook member 32 with the second pivot 312 as the axis, so that the hook groove 322 disengages from the fastening part 13 of the outer shell 10. At this time, the cover 20 loses its lock and can be completely removed from the top of the body 11, thereby giving the user more operating space and improving the convenience of disassembly and assembly.
[0023] In summary, the battery box 1 of the present invention for electric motor vehicles, through the insertion protrusion 22 that can be detachably inserted into the mating part 12 of the outer casing 10, allows one side of the upper cover 20 to be connected and positioned with the body 11. In addition, the multiple hook structure 30 with dual axes, through the linkage of the hook 32 and the locking member 31, securely locks the upper cover 20 to the top of the body 11. Furthermore, the multiple elastic members 14 and the multiple buffer pieces 24 provide positioning and buffer protection, allowing the battery 3 to be stably fixed in the battery box 1 to avoid damage.
