Abstract

A method for obtaining identification information of a packaging bag includes a repackaging bag (1) for packaging powder or granules, which is sealed by a sealing part (13) and has printed characters based on identification information (J) on the surface near the sealing part (13). When the bag is transported in a lying position with the printed characters facing upward and the bottom (1Pa) as the transport direction, the method involves moving a biasing member (26) relative to the sealing part (13) by pushing the top (1Pb) of the packaging bag (1) downward from the bottom (1Pa) side to the sealing part (13) to flatten the surface near the sealing part (13) of the packaging bag (1), and then obtaining identification information (J) from the printed characters.
