Abstract

A hydrogen production method, which produces hydrogen by directly decomposing hydrocarbons into carbon and hydrogen, includes a formation step in which a fluidized bed of the mixture is formed inside a reactor by supplying a mixture of inert particles and a catalyst that are inert to the reaction of directly decomposing hydrocarbons into carbon and hydrogen with a raw material gas containing hydrocarbons.
