Alumina and its preparation methods, hydrogenation catalysts and their applications

Abstract

This invention relates to the field of alumina preparation, and discloses an alumina, its preparation method, and its applications. The alumina contains γ-Al₂O₃ and δ-Al₂O₃, with a molar ratio of γ-Al₂O₃ to δ-Al₂O₃ of 1:0.8-3; wherein the Brønsted acid content of the alumina is not less than 0.005 mmol / g; wherein, in the alumina, the pore volume of pores with a diameter less than 6 nm accounts for 1-15% of the total pore volume, and the pore volume of pores with a diameter greater than 15 nm accounts for 55-85% of the total pore volume. The alumina of this invention possesses both good water resistance and catalytic activity.
