Abstract
The purpose of this invention is to provide a modified polybutadiene and a rubber composition for outsoles. The modified polybutadiene is suitable for use in outsole rubber compositions or outsoles. The outsole rubber composition improves abrasion resistance and tear strength while suppressing the decrease in adhesive strength. In the modified polybutadiene for outsoles of this invention, the silicon atom content is 60 ppm to 150 ppm, and the nitrogen atom content is 80 ppm to 280 ppm.
