Abstract

An offshore power generation device is provided. It includes a base and a power generation unit. The base defines a motion space therein. The power generation unit includes a rotating element and a generator. The rotating element is configured in the motion space and adapted to be actuated by wave action to undergo relative helical motion with respect to the base, thereby driving the generator to create electricity.
