Abstract

A chromatographic analysis method, characterized by: setting characteristic mass-to-charge ratios for each of the multiple target components that may be contained in the sample (step 2); introducing the sample into a chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) instrument, and measuring the intensities of ions with the multiple mass-to-charge ratios among the ions generated from the column effluent from the chromatograph, thereby obtaining multiple mass chromatogram data (steps 4 and 5); integrating the multiple mass chromatogram data to create an integrated mass chromatogram (step 7); and displaying the integrated mass chromatogram on a display screen (step 9).
