Polarizing plate and its manufacturing method

Abstract

The subject of this invention is to provide a polarizing plate that can suppress the polyolefination of polyvinyl alcohol even under high temperature conditions. As a solution, the polarizing plate (100) is laminated in the following order: a polarizer (101), an adhesive layer (102), and a protective film (103). The polarizer (101) is a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin film containing an adsorbed dichroic pigment. The adhesive layer (102) is formed of an adhesive composition containing a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin, a polyaldehyde crosslinking agent, and amino acids.
