Backlight module and display device

Abstract

A backlight module comprises a back cover, a light source unit, a middle frame, and a front frame. The back cover has a plurality of side walls jointly forming an accommodation space, with a gap formed between two adjacent side walls. The light source unit is located within the accommodation space. The middle frame has at least one positioning portion extending into the gap to be positioned on the back cover. The front frame covers the side walls and the at least one positioning portion. The gaps on the back plate can serve as installation and positioning structures for the middle frame, while simultaneously reducing light leakage situations of the backlight module.
