Temperature control system and method

Abstract

A temperature control method, applicable for a chipset comprising a plurality of chips and executed by a controller, the method includes: obtaining a first temperature specification value of one of the plurality of chips, obtaining a temperature limit value of the chipset, acquiring a virtual temperature value through a difference between the first temperature specification value and the temperature limit value, and controlling fan speed based on the virtual temperature value. A temperature control system, applicable for a chipset comprising a plurality of chips, includes a fan and a controller. The controller is connected to the fan, and configured to obtain a first temperature specification value of one of the plurality of chips, obtain a temperature limit value of the chipset, acquire a virtual temperature value through a difference between the first temperature specification value and the temperature limit value, and control fan speed based on the virtual temperature value.
