Method, system, and computer-readable recording medium for delivery order assignment

Abstract

The present disclosure provides an delivery order allocation method performed by at least one processor. The method comprises, receiving, receiving a plurality of delivery orders, each delivery order including a pick-up location and a drop-off location, classifying, among the plurality of delivery orders, into a first group those delivery orders in which distance between each pick-up location and distance between each drop-off location are less than or equal to a first threshold distance, assigning each first group to delivery workers, classifying, among first remaining delivery orders that are the plurality of delivery orders excluding the delivery orders included in the first group, into a second group those delivery orders in which at least one of distance between each pick-up location and distance between each drop-off location is greater than the first threshold distance and less than or equal to a second threshold distance that is greater than the first threshold distance, assigning each second group to delivery workers, and assigning each second remaining delivery orders that are the plurality of delivery orders remaining after excluding the delivery orders included in the second group from the first remaining delivery orders to delivery workers.
