Abstract

Improved write operation processing capability. According to an embodiment, the memory system includes memory devices and a memory controller. The memory device includes: a first memory cell and a second memory cell, separately deposited on top of a substrate; word lines connected to the respective gates of the first and second memory cells; a first word line and a second word line; and a sense amplifier module connected to the first word line and the second word line. The write operation includes a programming operation and a program verification operation. In the program verification operation, a first verification voltage corresponding to a first state containing the first word line is less than a second verification voltage corresponding to a first state containing the second word line.
