Socket connectors, plug connectors and their combinations

Abstract

This invention relates to a socket connector, a plug connector, and a combination thereof, comprising: a plug connector having two spaced-apart insulating bases and two positioning springs, the two insulating bases having mating portions with a plurality of conductive terminals and positioning portions and connecting portions located on both sides of the mating portions, and two adjacent connecting portions being covered by two positioning springs and in a coupled state; a socket connector having two spaced-apart insulating bases and two positioning springs, the two insulating bases having mating portions with a plurality of conductive terminals outside the mating space and positioning portions and connecting portions located on both sides of the mating portions, and two adjacent connecting portions being covered by two positioning springs and in a coupled state; the plug connector can be electrically connected to the socket connector, thereby providing excellent stability when the plug connector and the socket connector are engaged.
