Electronic connector with locking mechanism

Abstract

An electronic connector with locking mechanism is a second connector used to couple with a first connector that has a first terminal. The second connector comprises a base with a second terminal installed inside, an adjustable housing movably sleeved over the base, and a latching member mounted on the base, with a portion protruding at an angle between the second terminal and the adjustable housing. The first terminal passes through the adjustable housing and the latching member to couple with the second terminal inside the base, where the second terminal provides a first binding force to the first terminal, while the latching member provides a second binding force. In the coupled state of the first and second connectors, when the first connector is pulled unidirectionally, it is restricted by the first and second binding forces, preventing detachment from the second connector. However, when the first connector and the adjustable housing are subjected to opposite directional forces simultaneously, the adjustable housing interacts with the latching member to release the second binding force, allowing the first connector to be freed from the first binding force and detach from the second connector.
