Abstract

An integrated circuit is provided and includes a header circuit coupled to a first voltage terminal providing a first supply voltage and configured to provide a second supply voltage at a second voltage terminal; a receiver / transmitter circuit coupled between the second voltage terminal and a third voltage terminal providing a third supply voltage smaller than the second supply voltage; and an electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection circuit coupled to a pad and the receiver / transmitter circuit, and further coupled between the first voltage terminal and the third voltage terminal.
