Abstract

The present invention discloses a method for dynamic beam alignment in satellite communications. The method calculates the dynamic beam direction in terms of azimuth and elevation angles from a User Terminal’s antenna to a satellite. The beam direction is determined based on at least one of the following parameters: an electromechanical operation, a tracking scope, or a step-tracking technique.
