A perovskite photoelectric conversion element (10a) with a planar unidirectional structure has a lower electrode layer (14), an upper electrode layer (22), an absorption layer (18) disposed between the lower electrode layer (14) and the upper electrode layer (22), and an ETL (16) and an HTL (20).
