Front-opening substrate container

Abstract

This invention provides a front-opening substrate container for housing multiple substrates, each of which has either a circular or square shape. The substrate container includes: a housing with a top plate, a bottom plate, a back plate, and two side plates. The top plate, bottom plate, back plate, and two side plates together define an internal space and a front opening; a door panel that can hermetically close the front opening relative to the back plate; and a support module with two side support frames and a back support frame, which are respectively installed on the two side plates and the back plate to collectively space apart and support multiple substrates. The width of the back plate corresponds to the front opening, allowing each substrate to be suitably housed within the internal space.
