Abstract

[Application of the Item]: This derivative design is used in connector housings for electronic devices, such as computers; communication devices; sound / image processing, playback and recording devices; optical devices, etc. [Design Description]: This invention relates to a decorative design of a connector housing, specifically a derivative design of No. 101303739 "Connector Housing". This derivative design is made of materials such as synthetic resin or metal. As shown in the reference figure, the connector housing is used with a socket connector pressed against the end of a wire. The socket connector is inserted into a separate receiving portion of the connector housing and is used to engage with a connector (connector base) mounted on the surface of a printed circuit board. The main features of this connector housing include a flat, thin rectangular body with a width ratio in the front direction that is much greater than its depth ratio in the side direction, and a relatively small height ratio. Symmetrically arranged on the left and right sides of the front end of this body are a pair of tapered guide portions for guiding the connectors to the opposite sides. Between these guide portions are a plurality of narrow, slit-like contact slots arranged at equal intervals. These slots are alternately separated by a plurality of slightly convex pins. The back of the body has a plurality of rectangular receiving portions corresponding to these slots. Overall, the design is highly novel.
