Abstract

【Item Uses】 The item used in this design is a component of a kettle, which is a kettle lid that can be opened or closed and is attached to the opening of the kettle. 【Design Description】 This kettle lid design includes a cylindrical body with a specific ratio between its diameter and height, comprising a base, an upper cover conjugate to the base, and a top cover covering the top surface of the upper cover; wherein, the upper end of the upper cover has an inverted conical section that gradually increases in a radial direction, and on the radially opposite side of the top cover, there is a hinge extending downwards to the back, and a fastening part extending downwards to the front, etc., forming a very distinctive visual impression. The fastening part extending downward from the top cover in this design is confined within two parallel ridges on the side of the cover, just like the original design. The difference between the two designs is that the original design forms a flat side surface between the two parallel ridges, while this design forms an inwardly inclined, rather than flat, side surface at the lower part between the two parallel ridges. The dotted lines shown in the diagram represent the parts that are not recommended for design in this case.
