Abstract

【Item Uses】 This design relates to a power connector, and more particularly to a hybrid upright power connector used to transmit power and signals. 【Design Description】 This design requests protection of the overall shape. The design features an overall upright shape with its mating direction parallel to its installation direction. It includes a rectangular insulating shell, multiple power terminal assemblies, and a plurality of signal terminals. The top surface of the insulating shell has horizontally distributed, upright power sockets and upright signal sockets. A row of wider power terminal channels is formed on the front and rear sides of each power socket, while a row of narrower signal terminal channels is formed on the front and rear sides of each signal socket. A row of rectangular heat dissipation holes is formed on the front and rear surfaces of the insulating shell. The heads and tails of each power terminal assembly are generally parallel, with the heads exposed inside the power sockets and the tails extending out of the bottom surface of the insulating shell. The tails of the multiple power terminal assemblies are arranged in four rows. Similarly, the heads and tails of each signal terminal are generally parallel, with the heads exposed inside the signal sockets and the tails extending out of the bottom surface of the insulating shell. The tails of these signal terminals are arranged in two rows. This overall design creates a unique visual effect.
