Abstract
【Item Uses】 This design relates to a columbarium niche panel, which is installed at the niche opening to conceal the interior space and provide an aesthetic decorative effect. 【Design Description】 This design provides a columbarium niche panel, as shown in the attached drawing. It mainly has a rectangular outer frame, within which the panel body is located. The surface of the panel is divided into several blocks by multiple sets of geometric lines. The arrangement of each block presents an asymmetrical composition, and the variation in line thickness and spacing creates a distinct visual effect. The panel surface is provided with at least one set of arc-shaped light-emitting components. These light-emitting components are distributed in an arc shape and complement the overall straight geometric structure to form a contrast between curves and straight lines, giving the overall appearance a modern and simple look with a soft light and shadow effect. Decorative graphics are also featured in certain areas of the panel. These graphics are shaped like leaves or petals and are interwoven with the surrounding geometric lines, further enhancing the overall design's sense of layering and artistry. The design conveys the Zen concept of the "circle," representing the true nature of reality and the inherent Buddha-nature within all beings. It expresses the hope that the deceased, guided by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, can rediscover their inherent Buddha-nature and be reborn in a better realm. The lotus flower in the center symbolizes "rising from the mud unsullied," hoping the deceased can escape worldly troubles. The horizontal lines on either side subtly represent the boundary between Yin and Yang, signifying the hope that the deceased, guided by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, will forever be freed from the suffering of lower realms. In conclusion, this design, through the combination of geometric segmentation, light source configuration, and decorative elements, presents a simple yet modern visual style, which is different from the traditional decorative forms of tower panels. It is indeed novel and creative, and therefore a design patent application is filed in accordance with the law.
