Abstract

【Item Uses】 This design is a part of the temple of eyeglasses, and more particularly a connecting structure used in modular eyeglass temples to provide quick assembly, disassembly, positioning, and visual connection between the front and rear sections of the temple. 【Design Description】 The design features of this case are as follows: the first section ends in a square column, and a columnar male connector with a specific proportion is formed at the end of the square column; and the front end of the second section forms square and round sleeve-shaped female connectors. The inner diameter of the sleeve-shaped female connector presents a geometric symmetry and a male-female mating relationship with the square and round columnar shapes of the male connector, and a specific storage space is formed at the bottom of the sleeve of the female connector (as shown in the cross-sectional view of the assembled state). In principle, any reasonable proportional relationship between the diameter of the apex-shaped cross-section at the end of the first square column and the diameter of the extended cylinder is within the scope of protection of this case. For example, if the height and width of the apex-shaped cross-section in the drawing are both L, then the reasonable size range of L ± 2mm is also within the proportional range that can be protected by this case. That is, for example, when L is 3.5mm, even if the height and width of the apex-shaped cross-section are in the range of 1.5 to 5.5, it should still be within the scope of this case. Similarly, if the diameter of the cylinder in the drawing is D, then the reasonable size range of D ± 2mm is also within the scope of protection of this case. That is, for example, when D is 3mm, a diameter of 1 to 5mm should still be within the scope of protection of this case. The overall appearance of this project presents a visually appealing interplay of tiered square, cylindrical, and sleeve-shaped elements. The transitions in the lines at the joints and the proportions of the cylinders contribute to the unique aesthetic characteristics of this project. The exploded perspective views 1 and 2 of this case illustrate the solid line claims of each component after disassembly; the combined sectional view clearly shows the spatial structural features of the claims within the joint. In this case, the "temple portion of the eyeglasses" refers to a partial design claim. In the drawing, solid lines represent the portion for which a patent is sought, while "dashed lines" represent the portion for which a patent is not sought. The "one-point chain line" shown in the diagram is used to define the boundary between the part that claims rights and the part that does not claim rights; it is itself the part that does not claim a patent.
