Abstract

【Item Uses】 This design is a cape intended for use by wheelchair users, etc. 【Design Description】 This design includes: a front panel with a transparent window and an inner opening, and a pocket located inside the front panel, partially visible from the outside through the window. The window is a trapezoid, longer at the bottom than at the top. The lower center portion of the front panel, adjacent to the lower end of the window, is also trapezoidal, with its left and right ends continuously aligned with the left and right ends of the window. The lower center portion joins the other parts of the front panel at its left and right ends. The pocket extends vertically beyond the upper end of the window and has an outer opening formed above the upper end of the window. The inner opening is also formed above the upper end of the window, allowing the wearer's hands to enter and exit through both the inner and outer openings. Zippers are provided on both the inner and outer openings, and a rain cover is provided outside the outer opening. Furthermore, three snap fasteners are arranged side-by-side at predetermined intervals near the lower end of the front panel. Above these three snap fasteners, three more snap fasteners are arranged side-by-side at prescribed intervals in the left and right directions. The lower part of the front panel is bent inwards and fastened with the lower and upper snap fasteners to shorten the garment length. Because the garment length is adjustable, users of various body types and sitting heights can wear it appropriately in wheelchairs with different seating heights. It can also be worn comfortably on bicycles, electric mobility scooters, and motorcycles. A pair of fastening elements is located near the window on the inner side of the front panel. These fastening elements allow the cape to be secured to the wheelchair frame, or the handlebars of bicycles, electric mobility scooters, or motorcycles. Furthermore, a fastening element is also located near the lower inner side of the front panel. This fastening element allows the cape to be secured to the front storage basket of a bicycle or electric mobility scooter. These fastening elements prevent the cape from being blown up by the wind. These fastening elements include an elastic band and a pair of detachable snap fasteners at both ends of the elastic band, forming a loop by fastening the pair of snap fasteners. The neck perimeter of the front panel can be loosened or tightened by unfastening the two pairs of snap fasteners at the neck. A pair of elongated reflective strips are provided on the left and right sides of the shoulder area of the back panel. The front part of the hood is transparent, and this transparent front part is both flexible and rigid enough to maintain the shape of the hood. Reflective material is also provided on the perimeter of the transparent front part. When not in use, the pocket of the bag-like body can be folded inward through the outer or inner opening to store the cape. Because the outer and inner openings are equipped with zippers, the outer or inner openings can be opened and closed even when the pocket is folded inward.
