Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] This invention relates to the technical field of bicycles, and in particular to a mudguard with a load-bearing device. Prior Technology
[0002] The vast majority of vehicles use gasoline and diesel fuel, which not only produce harmful substances released into the air, seriously damaging human health, but also raise air temperatures, contributing to the greenhouse effect. With the growing awareness of environmental protection, people are increasingly choosing "green transportation" with advantages such as low emissions, energy efficiency, and health benefits, such as bicycles and electric vehicles.
[0003] Among them, bicycles are a popular choice for both adults and children due to their convenience and light weight. However, in daily life, various situations may require additional accessories. For example, when the weather is bad, adding mudguards can not only reduce mud splashes but also provide a visible warning in the rain, thus protecting one's safety; or when carrying a lot of items, adding racks can provide more hanging space.
[0004] However, what is more common in the market today is that accessories with specific functions are configured independently, meaning that each accessory has only one function and users can only select one at a time when installing. Moreover, the installation parts required for each accessory are not the same. If multiple accessories are to be installed, different parts need to be purchased for each type of accessory, and various tools need to be prepared for disassembling and assembling the parts and accessories. This not only increases the user's financial burden but also increases the trouble of replacement.
[0005] Therefore, based on the above explanation, relevant businesses need to reconsider how to solve and improve the above problems. Thus, the inventor has devoted a lot of time to studying relevant knowledge, comparing the advantages and disadvantages of various products, conducting research and development on related products, and undergoing numerous experiments and tests. Finally, a "mudguard with a load-bearing device" has been launched to improve the above-mentioned deficiencies and meet the needs of the public. Summary of the Invention
[0006] The main objective of this invention is to integrate the functions of mudguards and load-bearing, allowing users to install a single accessory on a bicycle that has dual functions, making it more versatile and convenient; it also addresses the shortcomings of conventional technologies that limit the installation of single-function accessories.
[0007] In order to achieve the above-mentioned effects and improve the deficiencies of the prior art, the present invention provides a mudguard with a load-bearing device, comprising: a mudguard; a plurality of connecting brackets, each connecting bracket being located below the mudguard, and one end of each connecting bracket being welded to corresponding sides of the periphery of the mudguard; at least one load-bearing bracket, the at least one load-bearing bracket being located on the same side as any of the connecting brackets, and both ends of the at least one load-bearing bracket being welded to one side of the mudguard.
[0008] Based on the technical features defined above for this invention, its advantages lie in combining the mudguard with the load-bearing function, allowing the mudguard to simultaneously perform mud removal and provide load-bearing space. This not only saves the cost of additional accessories and parts that need to be purchased for different functions, but also reduces the hassle of replacing various accessories. For example, there is no need to prepare special installation tools to match various accessories or spend extra time replacing them before use. It is evident that this invention is indeed practical and progressive, and is worthy of promotion in the industry. Simple Explanation of the Diagram
[0009] Figure A is a three-dimensional schematic diagram of the present invention. Figure B is a partially enlarged three-dimensional schematic diagram of Figure A of this invention. The second figure is a side view of the present invention. Figure 3A is a three-dimensional schematic diagram of the present invention from another perspective. Figure 3B is a partially enlarged three-dimensional schematic diagram of the third figure of this invention. Figure 4 is a schematic diagram of the usage state of the present invention (I). Figure 5 is a schematic diagram (II) of the usage state of the present invention. Implementation
[0010] To provide a more detailed understanding of the embodiments of the present invention, the features and effects of the embodiments are described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. Referring to Figures 1 to 5, the present invention provides a mudguard with a supporting device, comprising: a mudguard 1; a plurality of connecting brackets 2, each connecting bracket 2 located below the mudguard 1, and one end of each connecting bracket 2 being welded to corresponding sides of the periphery of the mudguard 1; and at least one supporting bracket 3 located on the same side as any connecting bracket 2, and both ends of the at least one supporting bracket 3 being welded to one side of the mudguard 1, as shown in Figures 1A, 2A, and 3A.
[0011] Based on the above description, other technical and structural features of the present invention will be further described below. The mudguard 1 has an outer surface 11, an inner surface 12 opposite to the outer surface 11, and two side portions 13 connecting the outer surface 11 and the inner surface 12. The at least one supporting bracket 3 has a first curved section 31, a flat hanging section 32, and a second curved section 33. The two ends of the flat hanging section 32 are respectively connected to one end of the first curved section 31 and one end of the second curved section 33, and the other ends of the first curved section 31 and the second curved section 33 are respectively connected to the side portion 13 of the mudguard 1, as shown in Figures 1A, 2A, 3A, and 3B.
[0012] To increase the structural strength of the present invention and make it less prone to deformation or damage, the mudguard 1, each connecting bracket 2, and the at least one load-bearing bracket 3 are made of aluminum alloy. By using aluminum alloy, the present invention has sufficient strength, and due to the lightweight nature of aluminum alloy, the present invention will not increase the load on the bicycle when installed on it. In addition, the mudguard 1, each connecting bracket 2, and the at least one load-bearing bracket 3 are all connected by welding. Welding makes the present invention less prone to loosening or disintegration due to bearing heavy loads or long-term use, as shown in Figures 1A, 1B, 2A, 3B, 4, and 5.
[0013] In addition to using aluminum alloy and welding technology to enhance the structural strength of the invention, a reinforcing rib 14 is connected between the inner surface 12 and each side portion 13 of the mudguard 1. Each reinforcing rib 14 improves the structural strength of the mudguard 1, preventing deformation or damage due to collisions during driving, and also preventing the mudguard 1 from breaking or even snapping due to excessive weight on the at least one load-bearing bracket 3. At the same time, an adjustment hole 15 is formed between each reinforcing rib 14 and the mudguard 1. The adjustment hole 15 provides a gap to allow the mudguard 1 room for thermal expansion and contraction, preventing deformation due to varying weather conditions. It also allows air to pass through the mudguard 1 during driving, preventing the mudguard 1 from breaking due to excessive wind force, as shown in Figure 3B.
[0014] Continuing from the above description, in addition to using aluminum alloy, welding technology, the reinforcing rib 14, and the adjusting hole 15 to improve the structural strength of the present invention, at least one load-bearing bracket 3 and each connecting bracket 2 define an included angle A between 45 degrees and 60 degrees. This included angle A of 45 degrees to 60 degrees can make the support of the mudguard 1 more stable and achieve a more optimized load. At the same time, the included angle A can also be flexibly adjusted to between 45 degrees and 60 degrees according to different bicycle models and different wheel sizes, with 49 degrees being preferred. For example, 45 degrees, 50 degrees, 55 degrees, and 60 degrees, as shown in Figures 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.
[0015] In terms of usage, in order to allow users to carry additional items while riding, the assembly bracket 2 of this invention can be mounted on the bicycle, and the side bag containing the items can be hooked onto the flat hanging section 32 of the at least one support bracket 3. In this way, during the ride, in addition to the mudguard 1 blocking the water, mud, sand, stones and other parts of the road that are thrown into the air by the tires, the user does not need to carry the side bag, reducing the burden. Furthermore, because the hooking method is fixed, the side bag will not easily move or fall off due to road bumps, as shown in Figures 4 and 5.
[0016] In conclusion, the present invention, "mudguard with a load-bearing device," is indeed in line with the needs of industrial development in terms of practicality and cost-effectiveness. Furthermore, the disclosed structural creation is an unprecedented innovative construction, so its "novelty" is beyond doubt. Moreover, the present invention can improve efficiency compared with conventional structures, thus it also has "progressiveness." It fully meets the requirements for application of invention patents under the Patent Law of our country. Therefore, we have filed a patent application in accordance with the law and respectfully request that your office examine it as soon as possible and give it approval.
