Abstract
Claims
1. A compound selected from the group consisting of: 5-(7-fluoro-3,3-dimethyl-2-sideoxyindoline-5-yl)-6-methyl-3,6-dihydro-2H-1,3,4-thiadi-2-one; 5-(7-chloro-3,3-dimethyl-2-sideoxyindoline-5-yl)-6-methyl-3,6-dihydro-2H-1,3,4-thiadi-2-one; 5-(7-bromo-3,3-dimethyl-2-sideoxyindoline-5-yl)-6-methyl-3,6-dihydro-2H-1,3,4-thiadi-2-one; its stereoisomers, and its veterinary-acceptable salts.
2. The compound of claim 1, its stereoisomers or veterinary-acceptable salt thereof, is: 5-(7-fluoro-3,3-dimethyl-2-sideoxyindoline-5-yl)-6-methyl-3,6-dihydro-2H-1,3,4-thiadi-2-one; 5-(7-chloro-3,3-dimethyl-2-sideoxyindoline-5-yl)-6-methyl-3,6-dihydro-2H-1,3,4-thiadi-2-one; or its stereoisomers or veterinary-acceptable salts thereof.
3. The compound of claim 2, its stereoisomers or its veterinary acceptable salts, is: 5-(7-fluoro-3,3-dimethyl-2-sideoxyindoline-5-yl)-6-methyl-3,6-dihydro-2H-1,3,4-thiadi-2-one; or its stereoisomers or its veterinary acceptable salts.
4. The compound of claim 2, its stereoisomer or a veterinary-acceptable salt thereof, is: 5-(7-chloro-3,3-dimethyl-2-sideoxyindoline-5-yl)-6-methyl-3,6-dihydro-2H-1,3,4-thiadi-2-one; or its stereoisomer or a veterinary-acceptable salt thereof.
5. A composition comprising a compound, a stereoisomer thereof, or a veterinary acceptable salt thereof, as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 4.
6. The composition of claim 5 further comprises an additional pharmaceutical agent selected from the group consisting of: ACE inhibitors, furosemide, or spironolactone.
7. The composition of claim 5 further comprises a veterinary-acceptable excipient.
8. Use of a compound, its stereoisomer, or a veterinary acceptable salt thereof as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 4 for the preparation of an agent for the treatment of myxomatous mitral valve disease, congestive heart failure, and / or asymptomatic heart failure in animals of need, wherein the animal is a canine.
