Description

Technical Field

[0001] This invention relates to a slide rail mechanism, and more particularly to a slide rail assembly with a safety mechanism. Prior Technology

[0002] For example, US Patent Publication No. 12,127,673B2 discloses a slide rail assembly comprising a first rail, a second rail, a working member, an operating member, and a stop. The working member and the stop are arranged on the second rail; the operating member can be used to operate the working member; when the second rail is in a predetermined position relative to the first rail and the working member is in a first state, the working member and the first rail mutually block each other through a blocking feature to prevent the second rail from displacing from the predetermined position in a predetermined direction; when the stop is in a blocking state, the stop will block the operating member, preventing the operating member from driving the working member; when the stop is in an unblocking state, the stop will not block the operating member, allowing the operating member to drive the working member from the first state to a second state.

[0003] However, with varying market demands, how to develop a different slide rail product to meet the needs of the market or users has become a topic worth exploring. Summary of the Invention

[0004] This invention relates to a slide rail assembly with a safety mechanism.

[0005] According to one aspect of the present invention, a slide rail assembly includes a first rail, a second rail, a working member, an operating member, and a safety mechanism. The first rail is provided with a stop; the second rail is longitudinally displaceable relative to the first rail; the working member is movably mounted to the second rail, and the working member includes a first working portion and a second working portion; the operating member is longitudinally displaceable relative to the second rail to be in one of an initial position, a first operating position, and a second operating position, the first operating position being located between the initial position and the second operating position; the safety mechanism is arranged to the second rail, and the safety mechanism includes a safety lock and an elastic member, the safety lock being linearly movable relative to the second rail. When the safety lock is in a locked state, it prevents the operating element from displacing to the second operating position. When the second rail is in a predetermined position relative to the first rail, the first and second working parts of the working element, in an initial working state, respectively block a first end and a second end of the stop, forming a mutual obstruction with the stop, preventing the second rail from displacing from the predetermined position in a first direction and a second direction opposite to the first direction. When the operating element is operated and displaced from the initial position to the first operating position... When in operation, the operating member drives the working piece to rotate from the initial working state to a pivoting direction to a first working state, so that the first working part of the working piece no longer obstructs the first end of the stop, thereby allowing the second rail to move from the predetermined position to the first direction; wherein, when the safety lock is operated and moves linearly from the locked state to an unlocked state, it allows the operating member to move from the initial position to the second operating position; wherein, when the safety lock is in the unlocked state, the elastic member accumulates a spring force; wherein, when the operating member During the process of being operated to move from the initial position to the second operating position, the operating member is used to drive the working part to rotate from the initial operating state to the pivot direction to a second operating state, so that the first working part and the second working part of the working part no longer block each other with the first end and the second end of the stop, so as to allow the second rail to move from the predetermined position to the first direction and the second direction; wherein, when the operating member returns from the second operating position to the initial position, the safety lock should release the elastic force of the elastic member to return from the unlocked state to the locked state.

[0006] According to another aspect of the present invention, a slide rail assembly includes a first rail, a second rail, a working member, an auxiliary elastic member, an operating member, and a safety mechanism. The first rail is provided with a stop; the second rail is longitudinally displaceable relative to the first rail; the working member is movably mounted to the second rail, and the working member includes a first working portion and a second working portion; the auxiliary elastic member provides elastic force to the working member; the operating member is longitudinally displaceable relative to the second rail and is in one of an initial position, a first operating position, and a second operating position; the safety mechanism is arranged to the second rail, and the safety mechanism includes a safety lock, an elastic member, and an auxiliary member, the safety lock and the auxiliary member being linearly movable relative to the second rail in different directions; wherein, when the safety lock is in a locked state... The safety lock is used to prevent the operating element from shifting to the second operating position; wherein, when the second rail is in an extended position relative to the first rail, the first and second working parts of the working element in an initial working state are respectively blocked by a first end and a second end of the stop, forming mutual obstruction with the stop, to prevent the second rail from shifting from the extended position in a first direction and a second direction opposite to the first direction; wherein, when the operating element is operated and shifted from the initial position to the first operating position, the operating element is used to drive the working element to rotate from the initial working state in a pivoting direction to the first working state, so that the The first working part of the working piece no longer obstructs the first end of the stop, allowing the second rail to move from the extended position to the first direction to a retracted position; wherein, when the auxiliary member is operated to move linearly from a first auxiliary position to a second auxiliary position, the auxiliary member drives the safety lock to move linearly from the locked state to an unlocked state through a guide part, and the auxiliary member blocks the safety lock, keeping the safety lock in the unlocked state, allowing the operating member to move from the initial position to the second operating position; wherein, when the safety lock is in the unlocked state, the elastic member accumulates a spring force; wherein, when the operating member... During the process of the component being operated to move from the initial position to the second operating position, the operating component drives the working component to rotate from the initial operating state to the pivot direction to a second operating state, so that the first working part and the second working part of the working component no longer obstruct each other with the first end and the second end of the stop, so as to allow the second rail to move from the extended position to the retracted position in the first direction, or to allow the second rail to move from the extended position to the second direction; wherein, when the operating component returns from the second operating position to the initial position, the safety lock should release the elastic force of the elastic member to return from the unlocked state to the locked state.

[0007] Overall, the safety lock can move linearly relative to the second rail. Furthermore, the safety lock provides greater safety for the slide rail assembly during use. Simple Explanation of the Diagram

[0020] As shown in Figures 1 to 3, a slide rail assembly 20 according to a first embodiment of the present invention includes a first rail 22, a second rail 24, a working member 26, an operating member 28, and a safety mechanism 30. The second rail 24 and the first rail 22 are longitudinally displaceable relative to each other. Here, the X-axis direction is longitudinal (the length direction or displacement direction of the slide rail), the Y-axis direction is transverse (the lateral direction of the slide rail), and the Z-axis direction is vertical (the height direction of the slide rail). Preferably, it further includes a third rail (not shown), and the first rail 22 (e.g., the middle rail) is movably mounted between the third rail (e.g., the outer rail) and the second rail 24 (e.g., the inner rail).

[0021] The first rail 22 has a first end 22a and a second end 22b (e.g., a front end and a rear end, but this is not a limitation in implementation) that are positioned opposite each other. Furthermore, the first rail 22 includes a channel 32 for receiving and movably mounting the second rail 24. The first rail 22 is provided with a stop 34 (as shown in FIG. 2), preferably located within the channel 32 and adjacent to the first end 22a of the first rail 22. On the other hand, the second rail 24 has a first end 24a and a second end 24b (e.g., a front end and a rear end, but this is not a limitation in implementation).

[0022] The working piece 26 is movably mounted to the second rail 24 (as shown in FIG. 2). The working piece 26 includes a first working part 36 (or front working part) and a second working part 38 (or rear working part) defining a predetermined space between them, and the predetermined space is larger than the longitudinal length of the stop 34 to accommodate the stop 34. The working piece 26 is pivotally connected to the second rail 24 via a shaft 40. Preferably, the slide rail assembly 20 further includes an auxiliary elastic member 44 for providing elastic force to the working piece 26. For example, the auxiliary elastic member 44 is connected (e.g., fixed) to the second rail 24, and the auxiliary elastic member 44 has an elastic part 46 (e.g., an elastic arm) for providing elastic force to the working piece 26.

[0023] The operating element 28 is movably mounted to the second rail 24, and more specifically, the operating element 28 is longitudinally displaceable relative to the second rail 24. Preferably, the operating element 28 has an operating portion 48 and a driving portion 47, wherein the operating portion 48 is located closer to the first end 24a of the second rail 24 than the driving portion 47. Preferably, the operating portion 48 and the driving portion 47 are located at a first end and a second end (e.g., a front end and a rear end, as shown in FIG2) adjacent to the operating element 28, respectively. Preferably, the driving portion 47 includes a guide surface (e.g., a ramp or arc surface) for use in conjunction with a predetermined structure 50 on the working piece 26. The predetermined structure 50 is connected to or directly integrated into the working member 26, and the predetermined structure 50 is, for example, a protrusion or a pin or similar object. Preferably, the second rail 24 has a mounting hole 52, which is arranged along the height direction, and the predetermined structure 50 passes through a portion of the mounting hole 52, thereby allowing the working member 26 to move only within a limited range relative to the second rail 24. Preferably, the slide rail assembly 20 further includes a return spring 53 for providing a return force to the operating member 28, wherein the two ends of the return spring 53 are respectively connected to a first predetermined portion M1 on the second rail 24 and a second predetermined portion M2 on the operating member 28 (as shown in FIG. 2). Preferably, the second track 24 and the operating member 28 have a corresponding predetermined hole 49 (as shown in FIG3), and the predetermined hole 49 is adjacent to the operating part 48 for the user's finger to be inserted to facilitate applying force to the operating part 48, thereby operating the operating member 28 to drive the working member 26.

[0024] The safety mechanism 30 is arranged on the second track 24. The safety mechanism 30 includes a safety lock 54 and a resilient element 56, and preferably, it also includes an auxiliary element 58 (as shown in Figures 2 and 3).

[0025] The safety lock 54 can move linearly (or linearly) relative to the second rail 24. Preferably, the safety lock 54 can move linearly along the height direction (e.g., the Z-axis direction) of the second rail 24. Preferably, one of the safety lock 54 and the second rail 24 has a first limiting feature 60, while the other of the safety lock 54 and the second rail 24 has a second limiting feature 62 for use in conjunction with the first limiting feature 60, so that the safety lock 54 can only move linearly in the height direction relative to the second rail 24 within a limited range; furthermore, one of the first limiting feature 60 and the second limiting feature 62 is, for example, a protrusion, while the other of the first limiting feature 60 and the second limiting feature 62 is, for example, an elongated hole into which a portion of the protrusion can pass.

[0026] The elastic element 56 is, for example, an elastic seat and has at least one elastic segment for providing elastic force to the safety lock 54. Here, it is taken as an example that the elastic element 56 has a first elastic segment 66a and a second elastic segment 66b for providing elastic force to the safety lock 54, but in practice, any object with elastic capacity capable of providing elastic force to the safety lock 54 is acceptable; the implementation is not limited. Furthermore, the elastic element 56 is arranged to the second track 24.

[0027] The auxiliary component 58 can move linearly (or linearly) relative to the second rail 24. Preferably, unlike the safety lock 54, which can move linearly along the height direction (e.g., the Z-axis direction) of the second rail 24, the auxiliary component 58 can move linearly along the longitudinal or length direction (e.g., the X-axis direction) of the second rail 24, which is substantially perpendicular to the height direction.

[0028] Preferably, the auxiliary member 58 and the second rail 24 have mutually mating limiting structures, allowing the auxiliary member 58 to move linearly in the longitudinal direction only relative to the second rail 24 within a limited range. For example, one of the auxiliary member 58 and the second rail 24 has a first limiting structure 68, while the other has a second limiting structure 70. One of the first limiting structure 68 and the second limiting structure 70 is, for example, a protrusion (e.g., a nail or pin), while the other is, for example, a first extension hole into which the protrusion can pass. And / or, one of the auxiliary member 58 and the second rail 24 has a third limiting structure 72, while the other has a fourth limiting structure 74. One of the third limiting structure 72 and the fourth limiting structure 74 is, for example, a second extension hole, while the other of the third limiting structure 72 and the fourth limiting structure 74 is, for example, a protrusion (e.g., a nail or pin) for inserting into a portion of the second extension hole. However, in practice, the implementation of these limiting structures is not limited to this.

[0029] The slide rail assembly 20 can be in a retracted state, in which case the second rail 24 is in a retracted position R relative to the first rail 22 (as shown in Figure 1). Alternatively, the slide rail assembly 20 can be in an extended state, in which case the second rail 24 is in a predetermined position P relative to the first rail 22, for example, an extended position (as shown in Figure 2).

[0030] As shown in Figures 2 and 3, the operating component 28 can be in an initial position K0 relative to the second rail 24; the safety lock 54 is in a locked state J1; and the auxiliary component 58 is in a first auxiliary position A1.

[0031] During the process of the second rail 24 moving relative to the first rail 22 to the predetermined position P, the first working part 36 of the working piece 26 will first encounter the stop 34 of the first rail 22 and deflect at an angle, causing the elastic part 46 of the auxiliary elastic member 44 to accumulate elastic force. After the first working part 36 of the working piece 26 passes the stop 34 of the first rail 22, the working piece 26 will return to an initial working state by releasing the elastic force of the elastic part 46 of the auxiliary elastic member 44. In short, at this time, the first working part 36 and the second working part 38 of the working piece 26 in the initial working state are respectively blocked by a first end 34a and a second end 34b (e.g., the front end and the rear end, but not limited to this) of the stop 34 on the first rail 22, forming mutual obstruction with the stop 34 to prevent the second rail 24 from moving from the predetermined position P to a first direction D1 and a second direction D2. The first direction D1 and the second direction D2 are opposite directions, for example, a closing direction and an opening direction, respectively.

[0032] As shown in Figures 4 and 5, when the operating member 28 is operated and displaced from the initial position K0 to a first operating position K1, the operating member 28 drives the working member 26 to rotate from the initial working state to a pivoting direction r by an angle to a first working state, so that the first working part 36 of the working member 26 no longer blocks the first end 34a of the stop part 34, so that only the second rail 24 is allowed to move relative to the first rail 22 from the predetermined position P to the first direction D1.

[0033] Specifically, the user (who can insert a finger through the predetermined hole 49) can apply a first force F1 to the operating part 48 of the operating member 28, causing the operating member 28 to move longitudinally relative to the second rail 24 from the initial position K0 to the second direction D2 to the first operating position K1. The operating member 28 is used to drive the working part 26 from the initial working state to the first working state. For example, the driving part 47 of the operating member 28 is used to contact the predetermined structure 50 on the working part 26, thereby driving the working part 26 to rotate an angle from the initial working state to the pivot direction r to the first working state, so that the first working part 36 no longer blocks the first end 34a of the stop part 34, so that only the second rail 24 is allowed to move from the predetermined position P to the first direction D1, for example, to the retracted position R (as shown in Figure 1). On the other hand, when the working piece 26 is in the first working state, the second working part 38 of the working piece 26 still blocks the second end 34b of the stop part 34 to prevent the second rail 24 from displacing from the predetermined position P to the second direction D2 (as shown in FIG. 4). When the working piece 26 is in the first working state, the elastic part 46 of the auxiliary elastic member 44 is pushed by the working piece 26 and is in a state of accumulating auxiliary elastic force. Once the user stops applying the first force F1 to the operating member 28, the working piece 26 responds by releasing the auxiliary elastic force through the elastic part 46 of the auxiliary elastic member 44 and returns to the aforementioned initial working state.

[0034] It is worth mentioning that when the safety lock 54 is in the locked state J1, the safety lock 54 prevents the operating member 28 from being in the first operating position K1 (as shown in Figure 5), thus preventing the operating member 28 from continuing to move in the second direction D2 to a second operating position K2 (refer to Figure 8 for the second operating position K2). Furthermore, when the safety lock 54 is in the locked state J1, the safety lock 54 blocks the movement path of the operating member 28 from the initial position K0 or the first operating position K1 to the second operating position K2. The first operating position K1 is located between the initial position K0 and the second operating position K2.

[0035] Preferably, when the operating member 28 is in the first operating position K1, the return spring 53 is in a state of accumulating return force. Once the user stops applying the first force F1 to the operating member 28, the operating member 28 can return to the first operating position K1 from the first operating position K1 to the initial position K0 by responding to the return spring 53 to release the return force.

[0036] As shown in Figures 3 and 6, one of the auxiliary component 58 and the safety lock 54 has a guide portion 76. The guide portion 76 is, for example, a sloped surface or a curved surface. Here, it is taken as an example that both the auxiliary component 58 and the safety lock 54 have guide portions 76, but the implementation is not limited to this.

[0037] When the second rail 24 is at the predetermined position P relative to the first rail 22, the working part 26 is in the initial working state, so that the first working part 36 and the second working part 38 of the working part 26 block the first end 34a and the second end 34b of the stop part 34 respectively, thus forming mutual obstruction with the stop part 34, so as to prevent the second rail 24 from moving from the predetermined position P to the first direction D1 and the second direction D2 (as shown in Figure 6).

[0038] As shown in Figures 3 and 6 to 8, when the safety lock 54 is operated and moves linearly from the locked state J1 (as shown in Figure 3) to a first height direction h1 to an unlocked state J2 (as shown in Figure 6), the safety lock 54 no longer obstructs the movement path of the operating member 28 from the initial position K0 or the first operating position K1 to the second operating position K2 in the second direction D2, thereby allowing the operating member 28 to move from the initial position K0 (as shown in Figure 6) to the second operating position K2 (as shown in Figure 8) in the second direction D2.

[0039] When the operating element 28 is operated to move from the initial position K0 to the second operating position K2, the operating element 28 is used to drive the working element 26 from the initial working state to a second working state (as shown in FIG7), so as to allow the second rail 24 to retract from the predetermined position P in the first direction D1 or move in the second direction D2.

[0040] Preferably, as shown in Figures 6 to 8, when the operating member 28 is operated by a second force F2 applied by the user and displaced from the initial position K0 (as shown in Figure 6) to the second operating position K2 (as shown in Figures 7 and 8), the operating member 28 drives the working member 26 from the initial working state (as shown in Figure 6) to the second working state (as shown in Figure 7). For example, the operating member 28 contacts the predetermined structure 50 on the working member 26 through the driving part 47, thereby driving the working member 26 from... After reaching the first working state from the initial working state, the component further rotates in the pivoting direction r to the second working state, so that the first working part 36 and the second working part 38 no longer obstruct each other with the first end 34a and the second end 34b of the stop 34, respectively. This allows the second rail 24 to move relative to the first rail 22 from the predetermined position P in the first direction D1 to the retracted position R, or allows the second rail 24 to move from the extended position P in the second direction D2 (as shown in Figure 7). In short, the rotational amplitude of the component 26 from the initial working state to the pivoting direction r to the second working state is greater than the rotational amplitude of the component 26 from the initial working state to the pivoting direction r to the first working state. Accordingly, the first working part 36 and the second working part 38 of the component 26 no longer obstruct each other with the first end 34a and the second end 34b of the stop 34, respectively. Furthermore, when the working part 26 is in the second working state, the elastic part 46 of the auxiliary elastic member 44 is pushed by the working part 26 and is in a state of accumulating an auxiliary elastic force.

[0041] Preferably, when the auxiliary member 58 is operated by the user with a predetermined force F to move linearly from the first auxiliary position A1 (as shown in FIG. 3) to a second auxiliary position A2 (as shown in FIG. 6) in the first direction D1, the auxiliary member 58 is used to drive the safety lock 54 from the locked state J1 (as shown in FIG. 3) to the unlocked state J2 (as shown in FIG. 6) in the first height direction h1, and the auxiliary member 58 blocks (e.g., presses down) the return path of the safety lock 54, so that the safety lock 54 remains in the unlocked state J2, wherein when the safety lock 54 is in the unlocked state J2, the elastic member 56 accumulates an elastic force f.

[0042] Preferably, the auxiliary component 58 is used through the guide portion 76 to contact and drive the safety lock 54 from the locked state J1 (as shown in FIG3) to the unlocked state J2 (as shown in FIG6) in the first height direction h1.

[0043] During the process of the operating member 28 moving from the initial position K0 (as shown in Figure 6) to the second operating position K2 (as shown in Figure 8), the operating member 28 contacts and drives the auxiliary member 58 away from the second auxiliary position A2, so that the auxiliary member 58 returns to the first auxiliary position A1 in the second direction D2 (refer to Figure 3 for the first auxiliary position A1), and the auxiliary member 58 no longer obstructs the safety lock 54. At this time, once the operating member 28 returns from the second operating position K2 to the initial position K0 in the first direction D1 (refer to Figure 3 for the initial position K0), the safety lock 54 responds to the elastic member 56 to release the elastic force f from the unlocked state J2 to a second height direction h2 (as shown in Figure 8) and returns to the locked state J1.

[0044] Preferably, when the operating member 28 is in the second operating position K2, the return spring 53 is in a state of accumulating return force (as shown in Figure 7). Once the user stops applying the second force F2 to the operating member 28, the operating member 28 can return to the initial position K0 from the second operating position K2 by releasing the return force through the return spring 53.

[0045] Preferably, once the user stops applying the second force F2 to the operating member 28, and the operating member 28 returns from the second operating position K2 to the initial position K0, the working member 26 responds to the elastic part 46 of the auxiliary elastic member 44 to release the auxiliary elastic force and can return from the second working state to the opposite pivoting direction r to the aforementioned initial working state.

[0046] As shown in Figures 8 and 3, when the operating member 28 returns from the second operating position K2 (as shown in Figure 8) to the initial position K0 (as shown in Figure 3) in the first direction D1, and the auxiliary member 58 no longer obstructs (e.g., no longer presses down) the safety lock 54, the safety lock 54 responds to the elastic member 56 by releasing the elastic force f from the unlocked state J2 (as shown in Figure 8) to the second height direction h2, returning to the locked state J1 (as shown in Figure 3). The second height direction h2 is opposite to the first height direction h1.

[0047] As shown in Figures 7 and 9, once the working piece 26 is in the second working state (as shown in Figure 7), the second rail 24 is allowed to move relative to the first rail 22 from the predetermined position P to the second direction D2, so that the second rail 24 can be unloaded from the channel 32 of the first rail 22 (as shown in Figure 9). That is, through the safety mechanism 30, the user can selectively move the operating piece 28 to the second operating position K2 as needed to drive the working piece 26 to the second working state, so that the second rail 24 can be unloaded from the channel 32 of the first rail 22. Therefore, the slide rail assembly 20 has safety and reliability in use. Furthermore, when the slide rail assembly 20 is installed on a rack (or cabinet) and the second rail 24 carries a load (such as electronic equipment), the safety mechanism 30 can prevent the operating element 28 from being operated to the second operating position K2 unintentionally or unintentionally, thereby preventing the working element 26 from moving to the second working state, so that the second rail 24 (and its load) cannot be arbitrarily removed from the channel 32 of the first rail 22, thus making the slide rail assembly 20 safe or reliable in use.

[0048] Figures 10 and 11 illustrate the elastic element 201 of the second embodiment of the present invention. The difference between the elastic element 201 and the elastic element 56 of the first embodiment, which is an elastic seat, is that the elastic element 201 is a spring, which can also be used to provide elastic force to the safety lock 202. Preferably, the two ends of the elastic element 201 are respectively connected to a first corresponding portion 204 on the second rail 208 and a second corresponding portion 206 on the safety lock 202.

[0049] Furthermore, the safety lock 202 can also move linearly relative to the second rail 208 from the locked state J1' (as shown in Figure 10) to the unlocked state J2' (as shown in Figure 11) in a first height direction h1'; or, in response to the release of the elastic force of the elastic member 201, it can return from the unlocked state J2' to the locked state J1' in a second height direction h2'. In the locked state J1', the safety lock 202 can block the movement path of the operating member 210 from the initial position K0' or the first operating position to the second operating position in the second direction D2; or, in the unlocked state J2', the safety lock 202 no longer blocks the movement path of the operating member 210 from the initial position K0' or the first operating position to the second operating position in the second direction D2.

[0050] Preferably, during the process of the auxiliary member 212 moving from the first auxiliary position A1' (as shown in FIG. 10) to the second auxiliary position A2' (as shown in FIG. 11) in the first direction D1, the auxiliary member 212 can be used through the guide part 214 (e.g., a slope or arc surface) to drive the safety lock 202 from the locked state J1' to the unlocked state J2' in the first height direction h1'.

[0051] Similar to the first embodiment, this second embodiment can also ensure the safety of the slide rail assembly 200 in use.

[0052] Therefore, the slide rail assembly 20 of the embodiment of the present invention includes the following features:

[0053] 1. When the safety lock 54 is in the locked state J1, the operating member 28 can only be displaced from the initial position K0 to the first operating position K1 to drive the working member 26 to rotate from the initial working state to the pivoting direction r by an angle to the first working state, so that the first working part 36 no longer blocks the first end 34a of the stop 34, and the second working part 38 of the working member 26 still blocks the second end 34b of the stop 34. Accordingly, only the second rail 24 is allowed to move relative to the first rail 22 from the predetermined position P to the first direction D1. When the safety lock 54 is in the unlocked state J2, the operating member 28 can be displaced from the initial position K0 to the second operating position K2, so as to drive the working member 26 from the initial working state to the first working state, and then further rotate in the pivot direction r to the second working state, so that the first working part 36 and the second working part 38 no longer block each other with the first end 34a and the second end 34b of the stop part 34, so as to allow the second rail 24 to move relative to the first rail 22 from the predetermined position P to the first direction D1 or the second direction D2. Furthermore, the safety lock 54 of the safety mechanism 30 allows the user to selectively move the operating element 28 from the initial position K0 or the first operating position K1 to the second operating position K2 as needed, so that the operating element 28 can drive the working element 26 to the second working state, so that the second rail 24 can be moved from the predetermined position P to the second direction D2, thereby allowing the second rail 24 to be unloaded from the channel 32 of the first rail 22. Therefore, the slide rail assembly 20 is safer and more reliable in use.

[0054] 2. The first working part 36 and the second working part 38 of the working piece 26 can be used to have a blocking relationship with the first end 34a and the second end 34b of the stop part 34, respectively. In other words, only one working piece 26 is needed to achieve a one-way blocking or two-way blocking relationship between the second rail 24 and the first rail 22 at the predetermined position P.

[0055] 3. The safety lock 54 can move linearly relative to the second rail 24, thus meeting different market or user needs and providing better reliability of the blocking.

[0056] 4. During the process of the operating member 28 moving from the initial position K0 or the first operating position K1 to the second operating position D2, the operating member 28 can contact and drive the auxiliary member 58 from the second auxiliary position A2 to the first auxiliary position A1 from the second auxiliary position A2 to the second operating position D2, and the auxiliary member 58 no longer obstructs (e.g., no longer presses down) the safety lock 54. At this time, once the operating member 28 returns from the second operating position K2 to the initial position K0 from the first operating position D1, the safety lock 54 responds to the elastic member 56 to release the elastic force f from the unlocked state J2 to the second height direction h2 and return to the locked state J1.

[0057] 5. The working piece 26 can be operated through the interaction between the drive part 47 of the operating member 28 and the predetermined structure 50 on the working piece 26, thus meeting different market or user needs. Preferably, the second rail 24 has a mounting hole 52, which is arranged along the height direction, and the predetermined structure 50 passes through a part of the mounting hole 52, thereby allowing the working piece 26 to move only within a limited range relative to the second rail 24.

[0058] 6. The auxiliary component 58 and the safety lock 54 can move linearly (or in a straight line) relative to the second rail 24 in different directions.

[0059] 7. When the auxiliary member 58 is operated to move linearly from the first auxiliary position A1 to the second auxiliary position A2, the auxiliary member 58 drives the safety lock 54 to move linearly from the locked state J1 to the unlocked state J2 through the guide part 76 (e.g., inclined surface or arc surface), and the auxiliary member 58 blocks (e.g., presses down) the safety lock 54, so that the safety lock 54 remains in the unlocked state J2, thereby contributing to the stability and reliability of the safety lock 54 when it is in the unlocked state J2.

[0060] Although the present invention has been disclosed with reference to the foregoing preferred embodiments, it is not intended to limit the present invention. Therefore, the scope of protection of the present invention shall be determined by the appended claims.
