Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of child carriers, and in particular to a child safety seat and a base thereof capable of indicating whether the child safety seat is properly installed. Prior Art

[0002] Child safety seats have become a must-have item for children when traveling in a car. Child safety seats mainly include a base and a seat body that is clamped to the base. Child safety seats need to be used correctly to protect children. When in use, the base is connected to the car seat through the ISOFIX connector and the base is abutted against the backrest of the car seat, which can effectively prevent the child safety seat from tipping over, thereby ensuring the stability of the child safety seat connected to the car seat.

[0003] At present, most child safety seats do not have indicator devices. Whether the child safety seat is properly installed (for example, whether the base is in contact with the backrest of the car seat) depends on the subjective judgment of the operator, which may easily bring risks to the children in the seat due to human misjudgment. In addition, during the driving of the car, continuous bumps may easily cause the position of the child safety seat to shift, resulting in the base not being able to contact with the backrest of the car seat. If it is not checked and adjusted in time, the safety of the child safety seat will also be affected. Summary of the invention

[0004] Based on this, the present invention provides a child safety seat and a base thereof, which can conveniently and accurately determine whether the child safety seat (or the base) is correctly installed on the car seat, thereby improving the safety of the child safety seat in use.

[0005] According to one aspect of the present invention, a base of a child safety seat is provided. The base includes: a base body and an indication mechanism.

[0006] The indicating mechanism is arranged on the base body and includes an indicating member and a triggering member. The indicating member is movably arranged on the base body to indicate whether the base is located at a correct installation position or an incorrect installation position. The triggering member is movably arranged on the base body, and the triggering member at least partially protrudes from the base body to allow the triggering member to move when being triggered by an external force. The triggering member is connected to the indicating member, and the movement of the triggering member drives the movement of the indicating member.

[0007] In one embodiment, when the base is located in an incorrect installation position, the trigger at least partially protrudes from the base body to allow the trigger to move when triggered by an external force; when the base is located in a correct installation position, the trigger is triggered by an external force and retracts toward the base body.

[0008] In one embodiment, the base body has a supporting portion, which is used to abut against a backrest portion of a car seat, and the trigger is movably arranged on the supporting portion.

[0009] When the base is located in an incorrect installation position, the triggering member at least partially protrudes from the abutting portion to allow the triggering member to be activated by an external force and move, and the abutting portion and the backrest portion are spaced apart;

[0010] When the base is located at a correct installation position, the trigger is pushed by the backrest portion and retracts toward the base body, and the backrest portion abuts against the backrest portion.

[0011] In one embodiment, when the base is located at a correct installation position, the trigger is completely retracted into the base body.

[0012] In one embodiment, the trigger has a drive connection portion, a push portion, and an intermediate portion located between the drive connection portion and the push portion. The drive connection portion is accommodated in the base body and connected to the indicator. The intermediate portion is pivotally connected to the base body. The push portion protrudes from the base body to allow the trigger to rotate when triggered by an external force.

[0013] In one of the embodiments, the driving connection part and the base body are respectively connected to the sliding pin, and the sliding pin is simultaneously penetrated through the driving connection part and the base body. The driving connection part rotates to drive the sliding pin to slide in the driving connection part and the base body.

[0014] In one of the embodiments, the base body is provided with a sliding groove for the sliding pin to slide, and the sliding groove extends along a straight line. The driving connection part is provided with a connecting groove for the sliding pin to slide, and the connecting groove extends along a straight line. The extension direction of the connecting groove forms an angle with the extension direction of the sliding groove, and the angle is set at an acute angle or a right angle.

[0015] In one embodiment, the base body is provided with a sliding connection part, and the sliding connection part has two side plate parts arranged opposite to each other, and the two side plate parts are provided with sliding grooves for sliding movement of the sliding pin. The driving connection part includes two ear plate parts arranged opposite to each other, and the two ear plate parts are respectively provided with connecting grooves for sliding movement of the sliding pin, and are respectively located on both sides of the sliding connection part. The sliding pin is inserted into the two sliding grooves and the two connecting grooves.

[0016] In one embodiment, the sliding pin and the indicator are respectively connected to the traction member, and one end of the traction member connected to the sliding pin is movably arranged between the two side plate parts.

[0017] In one of the embodiments, the indicator is provided with a snap-fitting groove, and one end of the traction member connected to the indicator is snap-fitted into the snap-fitting groove.

[0018] In one embodiment, the sliding pin is connected to the indicator, the indicator is slidably disposed on the base body, and the sliding pin slides in the base body to drive the indicator to slide relative to the base body.

[0019] In one of the embodiments, the base body is provided with a guide groove, which is used to accommodate the indicator and guide the indicator to slide relative to the base body. A limiting portion is provided at the notch of the guide groove, which prevents the indicator from leaving the guide groove.

[0020] In one of the embodiments, the base also includes a supporting foot pivotally connected to the base body and an ISOFIX connector slidably connected to the base body, the part where the base body and the supporting foot are pivotally connected is defined as the front end, the part where the base body and the ISOFIX connector are slidably connected is defined as the rear end, the parts of the base body located on the left and right sides of the front end and the rear end are defined as the side, and the indicator is partially exposed at the front end or the side.

[0021] In one embodiment, the base further comprises a display mechanism, which is arranged on the base body and has a display window. The indicator has an indicator portion, which is provided with a first indicator area and a second indicator area, and the indicator is movable between the first indicator position and the second indicator position.

[0022] When the indicator is located at the first indication position, at least part of the first indication area faces the display window to indicate that the base is located at an incorrect installation position; when the indicator is located at the second indication position, only the second indication area faces the display window to indicate that the base is located at a correct installation position.

[0023] In one embodiment, the indicating mechanism further includes a traction assembly, which includes a traction member and a sheath. One end of the traction member is connected to the indicating member, and the other end of the traction member is connected to the trigger member. The sheath is sleeved outside the traction member, and both ends of the sheath are fixed to the base body.

[0024] In one embodiment, the indicating mechanism further comprises a reset member, the reset member abuts between the indicating member and the base body, and the reset member is suitable for driving the indicating member to reset, thereby driving the actuating member to recover to at least partially protrude from the base body.

[0025] In one embodiment, the indicator member protrudes outward to form a positioning portion, one end of the reset member is sleeved outside the positioning portion and abuts against the indicator member, and the other end of the reset member abuts against the base body.

[0026] According to another aspect of the present invention, a child safety seat is provided. The child safety seat comprises a seat body and a base in any of the above embodiments. The seat body is mounted on the base.

[0027] In the process of switching between an incorrect installation position and a correct installation position, the above-mentioned child safety seat and its base can be activated by an external force because the triggering member protrudes from the base body, thereby driving the indicator member to move, and the position change of the indicator member is used to indicate that the child safety seat and its base are in the correct installation position or in an incorrect installation position, so that the operator can easily determine whether the child safety seat and its base are installed in place by checking the indicator member, thereby avoiding the risk of the child safety seat tipping over due to the operator's subjective judgment error, thereby improving the safety of the child safety seat. The first indicator area 211a and the second indicator area 211b can be marked with colors, words, symbols, shapes, etc., so as to distinguish the installation position of the child safety seat (i.e., the base 100). The correct installation position can correspond to the position where the base 100 of the child safety seat abuts against the backrest 310 of the car seat 300, and the incorrect installation position can correspond to the position where the base 100 of the child safety seat does not abut against the backrest 310 of the car seat 300. In this embodiment, the first indication area 211a is located behind the second indication area 211b in the first direction and is arranged adjacent to it. The first indication area 211a is marked in red, for example, and the second indication area 211b is marked in green, for example. The indication portion 211 has a first indication position and a second indication position. When the indication portion 211 is located in the first indication position, at least part of the first indication area 211a faces the display window 31, which is used to indicate that the child safety seat is in an incorrect installation position. When the indication portion 211 is located in the second indication position, only the second indication area 211b faces the display window 31, which is used to indicate that the child safety seat is in a correct installation position.

[0055] As shown in FIGS. 5 and 9 , the trigger 22 is disposed on the abutting portion 12. The trigger 22 comprises a driving connection portion 221, a pushing portion 222, and an intermediate portion 223 located between the driving connection portion 221 and the pushing portion 222. The intermediate portion 223 is pivotally connected to the abutting portion 12 of the base body 1 through a connecting pin 26, and the connecting pin 26 defines a pivot axis of the trigger 22. The driving connection portion 221 is accommodated in the receiving cavity 103 and is drivingly connected to the indicator 21. Specifically, the traction assembly 23 comprises a traction member 231, one end of which is connected to the driving connection portion 221, and the other end of which is connected to the driving portion 212 of the indicator 21.

[0056] In this embodiment, the trigger 22 can at least partially protrude from the base body 1, so as to allow the trigger 22 to be triggered by an external force and retracted toward the base body 1. The trigger 22 has a first position and a second position. When the base 100 is located at an incorrect installation position, the trigger 22 is located at the first position, and at least a portion of the push portion 222 extends out of the receiving cavity 103 through the through-hole 13 provided on the base 100 and protrudes from the base body 1, so as to allow the push portion 222 to be triggered by an external force and rotate. At this time, the indicator 21 is located at the first indicating position where at least a portion of the first indicating area 211a faces the display window 31. Specifically, at least a portion of the push portion 222 extends out of the receiving cavity 103 through the through-hole 13 provided on the abutting portion 12 and protrudes backward from the abutting portion 12, so as to allow the push portion 222 to be triggered by the backrest portion 310 of the car seat 300 and rotate. At this time, the abutting portion 12 and the backrest portion 310 are spaced apart, and the indicator 21 is located at the first indicating position. When the base 100 is in the correct installation position, the trigger 22 is in the second position, and at least a part of the push portion 222 is retracted to the receiving cavity 103 through the through-hole 13. At this time, the indicator 21 is in the second indication position where only the second indication area 211b faces the display window 31. Specifically, the push portion 222 is pushed by the backrest 310 of the car seat 300, and the push portion 222 is completely retracted to the receiving cavity 103 through the through-hole 13 provided on the abutment portion 12, and the abutment portion 12 is in contact with the backrest 310. At this time, the indicator 21 is in the second indication position. In other embodiments, when the base 100 is in the correct installation position, only at least a part of the push portion 222 may be retracted to the receiving cavity 103 through the through-hole 13 provided on the abutment portion 12. In the process of the trigger 22 rotating from the first position to the second position, the traction member 231 drives the indicator 21 to move from the first indication position to the second indication position.

[0057] As shown in FIG. 5 , FIG. 7 and FIG. 8 , the driving connection part 221 is connected to the base body 1 through a sliding pin 24. The accommodating cavity 103 is provided with a sliding connection part 14, and the sliding connection part 14 is provided on the first base shell 101. The sliding connection part 14 of the base body 1 is provided with a sliding groove 15 for the sliding pin 24 to slide, and the driving connection part 221 is provided with a connecting groove 224 for the sliding pin 24 to slide. The sliding pin 24 is simultaneously penetrated in the sliding groove 15 and the connecting groove 224. The driving connection part 221 rotates to drive the sliding pin 24 to slide in the sliding groove 15 and the connecting groove 224. The sliding pin 24 is connected to the driving part 212 of the indicating member 21 through a traction member 231. In this embodiment, the connecting groove 224 is a strip groove, and the sliding groove 15 is a strip groove. The extension direction of the sliding groove 15 is substantially linearly extended along the first direction D1, and the connecting groove 224 is also linearly extended, and the extension direction of the connecting groove 224 is substantially parallel to the extension direction of the trigger member 22. The extending direction of the connecting groove 224 forms an angle θ with the extending direction of the sliding groove 15, and the angle θ is an acute angle. In other embodiments, the angle θ may also be a right angle. In this way, when the trigger 22 rotates relative to the base body 1, the driving connection portion 221 of the trigger 22 is displaced relative to the sliding pin 24 along the extending direction of the connecting groove 224, and drives the sliding pin 24 to slide along the sliding groove 15 in the first direction D1. Through the coordinated use of the sliding groove 15 and the connecting groove 224, when the trigger 22 rotates, it can drive the sliding pin 24 to slide smoothly along the sliding groove 15, thereby driving the indicator 211 to move along the first direction. In other alternative embodiments, the connecting groove 224 may not be provided, and by connecting the sliding pin 24 with the driving connection portion 221 and setting the sliding groove 15 to a circular arc shape, when the trigger 22 rotates, it can drive the sliding pin 24 to slide smoothly along the sliding groove 15, thereby driving the indicator 21 to move through the traction member 231 connected to the sliding pin 24.

[0058] 7 to 9, the sliding connection part 14 has two side plates 142 arranged opposite to each other, and the two side plates 142 are both provided with sliding grooves 15. The driving part 212 is provided with a snap-fitting groove 213, and the second connection terminal 233 is snap-fitted in the snap-fitting groove 213. The traction member 231 passes through the side wall of the snap-fitting groove 213 and is connected with the indicator 21 through the second connection terminal 233. The traction member 231 is, for example, a steel rope, a carbon fiber rope, etc. When the trigger member 22 drives the sliding pin 24 to slide along the sliding slot 15, the first connecting terminal 232 is driven to move along the first direction D1, thereby driving the second connecting terminal 233 to move along the first direction D1 through the traction member 231, and the second connecting terminal 233 drives the indicating member 21 to move along the first direction D1.

[0060] As shown in FIGS. 5 to 8 , the traction assembly 23 is disposed in the receiving chamber 103. The traction assembly 23 further includes a sheath 234 sleeved on the outside of the traction member 231. The two ends of the sheath 234 are respectively fixed on the base body 1, specifically, the two ends of the sheath 234 are respectively fixed on the first base shell 101 of the base body 1. The traction member 231 can move relative to the sheath 234. The sheath 234 can facilitate the arrangement of the traction member 231 along a predetermined direction.

[0061] In some embodiments, as shown in FIGS. 5 to 7 , the indicating mechanism 2 further includes a reset member 25, which is abutted between the indicating member 21 and the base body 1. When the indicating member 21 is located at the second indicating position, the reset member 25 drives the indicating member 21 to return to the first indicating position, thereby driving the triggering member 22 to move from the second position to the first position through the indicating member 21. The reset member 25 is, for example, a compression spring. Specifically, the first base shell 101 is provided with an abutting portion 16, and the abutting portion 16 is located in the receiving cavity 103. The indicating member 21 protrudes from the driving portion 212 toward the abutting portion 16 to form a positioning portion 214, and specifically, the positioning portion 214 is a protrusion extending from the side of the driving portion 212 substantially along the first direction D1. One end of the reset member 25 is sleeved outside the positioning portion 214 and abuts against the driving portion 212, and the other end of the reset member 25 abuts against the abutting portion 16 of the base 100. The traction member 231 passes through the positioning portion 214 to be connected to the second connection terminal 233.

[0062] As shown in FIG. 2 , FIG. 3 and FIG. 5 , according to the child safety seat and the base 100 thereof provided in the embodiment of the present application, the specific steps of installing the child safety seat and the base 100 thereof to the car seat 300 are as follows:

[0063] First, place the child safety seat (or base 100) on the seat portion 320 of the car seat, then pivot the support leg 4 forward toward the side away from the base body 1 and open it downward to abut against the foot pad of the car. Then pull the ISOFIX connector 5 backward toward the side away from the base body 1 and connect it to the connector configured on the car seat 300. At this time, push the base body 1 backward along the first direction D1, so that the base body 1 slides backward relative to the ISOFIX connector 5, so that the child safety seat (or base 100) moves from an incorrect installation position to a correct installation position. During this process, the triggering member 22 is pushed and triggered by the backrest portion 310 of the car seat 300 and rotates from the first position to the second position in the counterclockwise direction, and drives the sliding pin 24 to move backward along the first direction D1, thereby driving the indicating member 21 to move backward along the first direction D1 from the first indicating position (i.e., the position indicating that the base 100 is located in an incorrect installation position) to the second indicating position (i.e., the position indicating that the base 100 is located in the correct installation position). At this time, the abutting portion 12 just abuts against the backrest portion 310 of the car seat 300, that is, the child safety seat (or the base 100) is located in the correct installation position.

[0064] The specific steps of removing the child safety seat and its base 100 from the car seat 300 are as follows:

[0065] First, the base body 1 is pushed forward along the first direction D1 relative to the ISOFIX connector 5 to switch the child safety seat (or the base 100) from the correct installation position to the incorrect installation position. In this process, the trigger 22 is no longer abutted by the backrest portion 310 of the car seat 300, and the abutment portion 12 is spaced from the backrest portion 310, that is, the child safety seat (or the base 100) is in the incorrect installation position. The trigger 22 has a space protruding out of the outside of the base body 1, and the indicator 21 first moves forward from the second indication position along the first direction D1 to the first indication position under the elastic restoring force of the reset member 25, and drives the sliding pin 24 to move forward along the first direction D1 through the traction member 231, thereby driving the trigger 22 to rotate from the second position to the first position in the clockwise direction. At this time, the ISOFIX connector 5 is retracted to the base body 1, and the support foot 4 is folded to the bottom of the base body 1.

[0066] The child safety seat and the base 100 provided by the present invention can be switched between an incorrect installation position and a correct installation position because the triggering member 22 protrudes from the base body 1 and can be triggered by an external force to move, thereby driving the indicator 21 to move, and indicating whether the child safety seat and the base 100 are in the correct installation position or in the incorrect installation position through the position change of the indicator 21, so that the operator can easily determine whether the child safety seat and the base 100 are installed in place by checking the indicator 21, thereby avoiding the risk of the child safety seat tipping over due to the operator's subjective judgment error, thereby improving the safety of the child safety seat.
