Abstract

In extraction bags of the tea bag type in which the free end of the holding portion is folded in half during extraction, the folded state of the free end of the holding portion can be maintained by a simple operation. Technical Field

[0001] This invention relates to an extraction bag in which an extraction material filled in a bag body made of a water-permeable filter sheet is immersed in hot water to obtain an extract. Prior Technology

1. An extraction bag having a bag body formed of a water-permeable filterable sheet, a thin plate-like member disposed on an outer surface of the bag body, and an extraction material filled within the bag body, and the bag body has 2 opposing sides, the thin plate-like member has a retaining portion disposed on one of the 2 faces of the foregoing, and a fixing portion adjacent to and fixed to the upper side of the bag of the holding portion. In relation to the holding portion, the upper end of the holding portion is fixed to the body of the bag, the lower portion of the holding portion is capable of being pulled up from the body of the holding portion, at least at the lower portion of the holding portion forming a double fold line dividing the width of the holding portion equally, at the lateral edges of the holding portion, a pair of notches are formed by folding and turning the width of the holding portion in half.

2. As in the extraction bag of claim 1, a pair of notches formed asymmetric with respect to the fold line of the fold so that the holding portion of the fold is snapped regardless of turning in either direction to the left or right.

7. The extraction bag of claim 1 or 2, wherein the thin plate-like member has a reinforcing portion extending from the left and right sides of the fixing portion to the bottom edge side of the bag body through a transverse fold line.
