Abstract

The display includes a plurality of pixel units. Each pixel unit is composed of a first pixel layer and a second pixel layer stacked sequentially. The first pixel layer includes four first chips arranged in a first rectangle and located at the four corners of the first rectangle. The second pixel layer includes four second chips arranged in a second rectangle and located at the four corners of the second rectangle. The first and second rectangles are staggered in the stacking direction to form partial overlap. The four first chips and the four second chips together contain a plurality of red chips, a plurality of green chips, and a plurality of blue chips, and the ratio of the number of red chips, green chips, and blue chips is 1:2:1.

Claims

1. A display comprising: a plurality of pixel units, wherein each of the pixel units includes a first pixel layer and a second pixel layer vertically stacked on the first pixel layer, wherein, The first pixel layer includes: four first chips arranged in a first rectangle and located at the four corners of the first rectangle; the second pixel layer includes: four second chips arranged in a second rectangle and located at the four corners of the second rectangle, the first rectangle and the second rectangle being staggered in a stacking direction to form partial overlap, wherein the four first chips and the four second chips together contain a plurality of red chips, a plurality of green chips and a plurality of blue chips, and the ratio of the number of red chips, green chips and blue chips is 1:2:

2. The display as claimed in claim 1, wherein the distance between the two centers of two adjacent first chips is greater than or equal to the average of the two single-side lengths of the two adjacent chips.

3. The display as claimed in claim 1, wherein the distance between the two centers of two adjacent second chips is greater than or equal to the average of the two single-side lengths of the two adjacent chips.

4. The display as claimed in claim 1, wherein the top-view straight-line distance between the geometric center of the first rectangle and the geometric center of the second rectangle is greater than zero and less than the diagonal length of the first rectangle.

5. The display as claimed in claim 1, wherein one of the four first wafers and one of the four second wafers partially overlap in the stacking direction.

6. The display as claimed in claim 1, wherein the geometric center of the second rectangle is located within the top view profile of the first rectangle when viewed from above.

7. The display as claimed in claim 1, having a display area wherein the opposite sides of each of the four first chips are parallel to or perpendicular to a length direction of the display area to the opposite sides of each of the four second chips.

8. The display as described in claim 1, wherein all four first chips are green chips.

9. The display as claimed in claim 1, wherein the four second chips comprise two red chips and two blue chips.

10. The display as claimed in claim 1, wherein one diagonal of the first rectangle and one diagonal of the second rectangle extend in the same direction and are parallel to each other.
