Abstract

A sealing element includes a fixed unit and a rotating unit confined within the fixed unit. The fixed unit includes a stationary ring fixed to an external mechanism and an outer sealing ring fitted onto the stationary ring. The rotating unit is fitted onto a rotating shaft of the external mechanism and rotates with the shaft, without contacting the fixed unit during rotation. The rotating unit includes a rotating ring and at least one inner sealing ring disposed on an inner ring side of the rotating ring and in contact with the rotating shaft. A plurality of protruding blocking portions are formed on an outer ring side of the rotating ring, the blocking portions extending toward the stationary ring along the diametrical direction of the rotating shaft. Through this non-contact design, in addition to a good sealing and blocking effect, the fixed unit and the rotating unit do not rub against each other, thus eliminating wear materials, and there is no heat generation, which does not affect power consumption.

Claims

1. A sealing element, comprising: a fixing unit including a stationary ring for locking and fixing to an external mechanism, and an outer sealing ring disposed on the stationary ring, wherein, The stationary ring includes a discharge hole; and a rotating unit, which is located within the fixed unit and sleeved on a rotating shaft of the external mechanism and rotates with the rotating shaft. The rotating unit does not contact the fixed unit when rotating. The rotating unit includes a rotating ring and at least one inner sealing ring disposed on one inner ring side of the rotating ring and in contact with the rotating shaft. A plurality of protruding blocking portions are formed on one outer ring side of the rotating ring. The blocking portions extend toward the stationary ring along the diameter direction of the rotating shaft. The stationary ring is an integral structure and is limited by both sides of the rotating ring. The area of the stationary ring facing the blocking portions is a smooth surface without comb teeth.

2. The sealing element as claimed in claim 1, wherein, The stationary ring has an inner stop portion locked and fixed to the external mechanism, a surrounding portion connected to the inner stop portion and surrounding the rotating ring, an outer stop portion connected to the surrounding portion, and a flange portion disposed on the surrounding portion and located between the inner stop portion and the outer stop portion. The flange portion and the outer stop portion together limit the rotating ring.

3. The sealing element as claimed in claim 2, wherein, The maximum distance of the inner diameter of the flange portion of the stationary ring is smaller than the maximum distance of the outer diameter of any obstruction portion of the rotating ring.

4. The sealing element as claimed in claim 3, wherein, The rotating ring also has an outer side facing the stop portion outside the stationary ring, and an annular protrusion disposed on the outer side.

5. The sealing element as claimed in claim 2, wherein, The stationary ring has an inclined surface facing the rotating ring, and the outer diameter of the blocking portion of the rotating ring varies with the distance between it and the inclined surface.

6. The sealing element as claimed in claim 1, wherein, The rotating unit has multiple inner sealing rings that are spaced apart.
