Abstract

A universal memory cell fixing structure is used to fix a memory cell to a circuit board of an electronic device. It includes: a fixing base with a plurality of limiting portions located on opposite sides of a peripheral wall, corresponding to the fixing positions of memory cells of different lengths; a fixing component including: a support member with limiting shafts that can engage with the limiting portions and slide horizontally along the fixing base; a retaining member disposed on the support member, having a hook-and-loop fastening structure to provide a stable pressing effect on the memory cell after assembly, preventing shaking or jumping; and an elastic element disposed between the fixing base and the fixing component, providing force for the fixing component to apply to the memory cell; wherein, after the fixing component slides to a selected limiting portion and is positioned, the elastic element generates tension to press the fixing component against the tail end of the memory cell.

Claims

1. A universal memory cell fixing structure for fixing a memory cell onto a circuit board of an electronic device, wherein the universal memory cell fixing structure comprises: A fixed base has a bottom and a perimeter wall located on the upper surface of the bottom to form an accommodating space, and is provided with a plurality of limiting parts located on opposite sides of the perimeter wall to fix memory units of different lengths. A fixing component is disposed on one side of the accommodating space for fixing the memory unit. The fixing component further includes: a support member with a limiting shaft that can be correspondingly engaged with the limiting portion and can slide horizontally along the fixing base; a retaining member disposed on the support member and having a hook-and-eye clasp structure for providing a downward and stable effect on the memory unit after assembly to prevent shaking or jumping; and an elastic element disposed between the fixing base and the fixing component to provide the fixing component to apply force to the memory unit; wherein, after the fixing component slides to a selected limiting portion and is positioned, the elastic element generates a pulling force to press the fixing component against the tail end of the memory unit.

2. The general-purpose memory cell fixed structure as described in claim 1, wherein the memory cell is, but is not limited to, a solid-state drive (SSD).

3. The general-purpose memory cell fixing structure as described in claim 1, wherein the electronic device is, but is not limited to, a notebook computer.

4. The universal memory cell fixing structure as described in claim 1, wherein the circuit board is provided with a connector for mounting the memory cell.

5. The universal memory cell fixing structure as described in claim 4, wherein the connector is disposed on the other side opposite the fixing base.

6. The universal memory cell fixing structure as described in claim 1, wherein the peripheral wall includes a first side wall, a second side wall and a third side wall and is U-shaped, the first side wall and the second side wall are located on opposite sides of the bottom and are parallel to each other, and the third side wall is perpendicular to the first side wall and the second side wall.

7. The universal memory cell fixing structure as described in claim 1, wherein the peripheral wall has a guide groove, so that the fixing component slides into the fixing base structure through the guide groove and slides horizontally along the fixing base through the guide groove.

8. The universal memory cell fixing structure as described in claim 1, wherein the limiting portions have a groove, and after the fixing component has slid, the limiting shaft engages with the limiting portions.

9. The universal memory cell fixing structure as described in claim 1, wherein the support member further has a retaining portion for fixing the elastic element thereon.

10. The general-purpose memory cell fixing structure as described in claim 1, wherein the elastic element is a helical spring or a silicone elastic cord.
