Abstract

This invention provides a motor system with temperature control protection, comprising a motor and a temperature protection circuit. The motor includes a control circuit and a temperature sensor. The control circuit controls the operation of the motor and outputs a first sampling signal; the temperature sensor detects the temperature of the motor system and outputs a second sampling signal. The temperature protection circuit is electrically connected to the control circuit and the temperature sensor to receive the first and second sampling signals, and outputs a first drive signal or a second drive signal to the control circuit based on the first sampling signal. The control circuit adjusts the motor speed according to the first or second drive signal.

Claims

1. A motor system with temperature control protection, comprising: a motor, including: a control loop for controlling the operation of the motor and outputting a first sampling signal; a temperature detector for detecting the temperature of the motor system and outputting a second sampling signal; and a temperature protection loop electrically connected to the control loop and the temperature detector to receive the first sampling signal and the second sampling signal, and outputting a first drive signal or a second drive signal to the control loop based on the second sampling signal; wherein, The control loop adjusts the motor speed according to the first drive signal and the second drive signal.

2. The motor system with temperature control protection as described in claim 1, wherein the temperature protection circuit includes: A signal detection unit is configured to receive the first sampling signal to monitor the operating status of the motor, and to receive the second sampling signal to detect the temperature change of the motor; a signal processing unit is electrically connected to the signal detection unit, configured to compare whether the second sampling signal exceeds a first signal threshold or a second signal threshold to count the number of times the second sampling signal exceeds the first signal threshold or the second signal threshold, and then output a first decision signal or a second decision signal; and a control unit is electrically connected to the signal processing unit, configured to output a first drive signal to the control loop when the control unit receives the first decision signal, and output a second drive signal to the control loop when the control unit receives the second decision signal.

3. The motor system with temperature control protection as described in claim 2, wherein, The control unit reduces the motor speed to a first speed according to the first drive signal or reduces the motor speed to a second speed according to the second drive signal.

4. The motor system with temperature control protection as described in claim 3, wherein, When the signal processing unit does not count the number of times the second sampled signal exceeds the first signal threshold or the second signal threshold within a time interval, it restores the motor speed.

5. The motor system with temperature protection as described in claim 2, wherein the control loop and the temperature protection loop are composed of a microcontroller (MCU).

6. A motor system with temperature control protection as described in claim 2, wherein the motor system implements temperature control protection using a field-oriented control (FOC) method.

7. The motor system with temperature control protection as described in claim 1, wherein the temperature sensor is a thermistor.
