Abstract
Claims
1. A display device, comprising: A transparent display panel; The display panel includes a dimming panel disposed behind the transparent display panel, comprising: a first substrate; a first transparent electrode disposed on the first substrate; a first light-shielding electrode disposed on the first substrate, wherein the first light-shielding electrode has a plurality of first light-shielding blocks separated from each other by a plurality of first openings, and the first transparent electrode is disposed at least on the first openings; a first insulating layer disposed between the first transparent electrode and the first light-shielding electrode; a second substrate disposed opposite to the first substrate; a second transparent electrode disposed on the second substrate; and a second light-shielding electrode disposed on the second substrate, wherein the second light-shielding electrode has a plurality of second light-shielding blocks separated from each other by a plurality of second openings, and the second transparent electrode is disposed at least on the second openings. A second insulating layer is disposed between the second transparent electrode and the second light-shielding electrode; and an electrophoretic display medium layer includes a plurality of light-shielding charged particles and is disposed between the first light-shielding electrode and the second light-shielding electrode, and between the first transparent electrode and the second transparent electrode, wherein at a first time point, there is a first potential difference between the first light-shielding electrode and the second light-shielding electrode, and there is substantially no potential difference between the first transparent electrode and the second transparent electrode; or, at a second time point, there is substantially no potential difference between the first light-shielding electrode and the second light-shielding electrode, and there is a second potential difference between the first transparent electrode and the second transparent electrode.
2. The display device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first light-shielding blocks are respectively aligned with the second light-shielding blocks, and the first openings are respectively aligned with the second openings.
3. The display device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first transparent electrode is located between the first insulating layer and the first substrate, and the second transparent electrode is located between the second substrate and the second insulating layer.
4. The display device as claimed in claim 3, wherein the first transparent electrode overlaps with the first light-shielding blocks, and the second transparent electrode overlaps with the second light-shielding blocks.
5. The display device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first light-shielding electrode is located between the first insulating layer and the first substrate, and the second light-shielding electrode is located between the second substrate and the second insulating layer.
6. The display device as claimed in claim 5, wherein the first transparent electrode is offset from the first light-shielding blocks, and the second transparent electrode is offset from the second light-shielding blocks.
