Abstract

A light-emitting diode (LED) string system includes an LED string that receives DC power, and the LED string includes a plurality of LED beads. Each LED bead includes an LED device, and each LED device is sequenced according to its different sequence positions in the LED string when receiving DC power, so as to generate a specific behavior when the sequencing is completed. Each LED device counts the number of disturbances generated by the specific behavior, and when the sequencing is completed, each LED device stores the value of the currently counted number of disturbances as a sequence sorting code.

Claims

1. A method for simplifying positioning data of a light-emitting diode (LED) string, the LED string comprising a plurality of LED beads, each LED bead comprising an LED device, and the method comprising the following steps: (a) the LED string receiving a DC power supply to activate each LED device; (b) each LED device receiving the DC power supply according to its different sequence positions in the LED string for sequencing, and generating a specific behavior upon completion of sequencing; (c) each LED device counting the number of disturbances generated by the specific behavior, and each LED device storing the currently counted number of disturbances as a sequence sorting code when the sequencing is completed; and (d) repeating step (c) until each LED device has completed storing its respective sequence sorting code.

2. The location data simplification method of claim 1, wherein step (c) further includes the following steps: (c1) a control device of the LED string provides a pulse to each of the LEDs according to the specific behavior generated by each of the LEDs; (c2) each LED uses the number of pulses of the pulse as the disturbance quantity and counts the number of pulses; and (c3) after the LEDs transition to a sequenced state, one of the LEDs stores the currently counted number of pulses as the sequence sort code.

The location data simplification method of claim 2, wherein the control device and an electronic device perform a signal transmission, and step (b) further includes the following steps: (b1) when one of the light-emitting diode devices completes the sequence, the light-emitting diode device controls one of its light-emitting diode beads to produce a first light-emitting behavior as the specific behavior; (b2) the electronic device captures the first light-emitting behavior by operating an image capturing device; and (b3) whenever the electronic device captures the first light-emitting behavior, it notifies the control device to provide the pulse to the string of light-emitting diodes.

The location data simplification method of claim 2, wherein step (b) further includes the following steps: (b1) when one of the light-emitting diode devices completes the sequence of light-emitting diode devices, the light-emitting diode device generates a disturbance signal for the light-emitting diode string as the specific behavior; and (b2) whenever the control device detects the disturbance signal, provides the pulse to the light-emitting diode string according to the disturbance signal.

5. The location data simplification method of claim 1, wherein step (c) further includes the following steps: (c1) each of the light-emitting diodes takes the number of times the specific behavior occurs as the disturbance quantity and counts the number of times; (c2) after one of the light-emitting diodes has completed the transition to a sequenced state, it stores the currently counted number as the sequence sort code.

The location data simplification method of request item 5, wherein step (b) further includes the following steps: (b1) when the sequence of each of the light-emitting diode devices is completed, each of the light-emitting diode devices generates a disturbance signal for the light-emitting diode string as a specific behavior.

7. The method for simplifying location data as requested in item 1 further includes the following steps: (e) when the LED string is operating in a working mode, a control device of the LED string provides a working signal including a plurality of light-emitting data to each LED device; and (f) each LED device compares the number of light-emitting data with its own sequence code, and when the sequence code of the LED device matches the number of data, the LED device performs a second light-emitting action according to the light-emitting data corresponding to the number of data.

8. The method for simplifying location data as requested in claim 1 further includes the following steps: (e) when the LED string is operating in a working mode, a control device of the LED string provides a working signal including luminous data to each LED device; and (f) each LED device compares a position code of the luminous data with its own sequence code, and when the sequence code of the LED device matches the position code, the LED device performs a second luminous behavior according to the luminous data.

9. A light-emitting diode (LED) string system, comprising a LED string that receives a DC power supply, wherein the LED string includes: A plurality of light-emitting diode (LED) beads, each LED bead including an LED device, and each LED device receiving DC power at different sequence positions in the LED string to perform sequencing, so as to generate a specific behavior when the sequencing is completed; wherein, each LED device counts the number of disturbances generated by the specific behavior, and each LED device stores the value of the currently counted number of disturbances as a sequence sorting code when the sequencing is completed.

The LED string system of claim 9, wherein the LED string further includes a control device that provides a pulse to each LED device according to the specific behavior generated by each LED device, and the control device transmits the pulse to the LED devices by attaching the pulse to the DC power supply.

The LED string system of claim 9, wherein the LED string further includes a control device, and the control device includes a signal terminal; the signal terminal is coupled to a data terminal of each LED device; the control device provides a pulse to each LED device according to the specific behavior generated by each LED device, and the control device provides the pulse to the data terminal of each LED device through the signal terminal.

12. The LED string system of claim 9, wherein when one of the LED devices completes its sequence, the LED device generates a disturbance signal for the LED string as the specific behavior, and the disturbance signal is added to the DC power supply and transmitted to the LED devices.

13. The LED string system of claim 9, wherein the LED string further includes a control device, the control device including a signal terminal and the signal terminal coupled to a data terminal of each LED device; when one of the LED devices completes the sequencing, the LED device generates a disturbance signal for the LED string as the specific behavior, and the disturbance signal is transmitted to the control device and the LED devices through the data terminal.
