Abstract
Claims
1. A teaching material for understanding carbon footprints, comprising a booklet, a globe model, and multiple magnetic footprint-shaped tags, wherein: The surface of the Earth model is printed with a world map to make it look like an Earth. The inner layer of the Earth model has a magnetic layer that is magnetic and can be attracted to magnetic materials such as magnets and iron. The plurality of footprint magnetic plates are made in the shape of footprints. They are plate-shaped and have magnetic properties that can be attracted to magnetic materials such as magnets and iron. This reader is a book with multiple pages, including picture pages and text pages depicting the processes of a product, namely, the raw material stage, manufacturing stage, transportation and sales stage, usage stage, and disposal stage. When the reader is opened, one side has picture pages, and the other side has text pages corresponding to the pictures. The picture pages contain pictures, and the text pages contain corresponding text descriptions of the pictures. The structure of the reader pages for each stage, such as the raw material stage, manufacturing stage, transportation and sales stage, usage stage, and disposal stage, includes a magnetic book layer in the middle, and a first covering layer and a second covering layer that cover the magnetic book layer. Multiple grooves are formed between the first or second covering layer and the magnetic book layer, and footprint magnetic pieces can be embedded in these grooves. The footprint magnetic pieces can be magnetically attracted to the magnetic book layer and will not fall off. The footprint magnetic pieces on each reader page can be removed and moved to a globe model, where they will be magnetically attracted.
2. The teaching material on understanding carbon footprint as described in claim 1 also includes a cover page with a cover title and a cover image corresponding to the cover title.
3. As described in Request 1, the teaching material on understanding carbon footprint includes, after the cover page, a picture introduction page and a text introduction page, which are located on the left and right sides respectively.
4. As described in Request 1, the teaching material on understanding carbon footprints includes a compilation of images and a compilation of text pages after the pages on the waste disposal stage. The compilation of images brings together images that generate greenhouse gases, and the compilation of text pages provides textual descriptions of the images on the compilation of images.
5. As described in Request 1, the teaching material on understanding carbon footprints includes, after the compilation of picture pages and text pages, a picture page and a text page on global warming. The picture page shows an image of the Earth covered in footprints, sweating, while someone is fanning themselves to cool it down. The text page is a textual description of the image on the picture page.
6. As described in Request 1, the teaching material on understanding carbon footprint includes, after the pages on global warming pictures and text about global warming, a page on mitigation methods pictures and a page on mitigation methods text. The page on mitigation methods pictures contains several pictures of actions that mitigate global warming, and the page on mitigation methods text is a textual description of the pictures on the page on mitigation methods pictures.
7. As described in Request 1, the teaching material on understanding carbon footprint shall include, after the pages on improvement methods (pictures and text), a page on Earth's improved state (pictures and text), and a page on Earth's improved state (text). The page on Earth's improved state (pictures) shows an image of the Earth showing improvements in global warming, and the page on Earth's improved state (text) provides a textual description of the image on the page on Earth's improved state (pictures).
8. As described in Request 1, the teaching material on understanding carbon footprints includes, after the picture page and text page on improving the Earth, a question and answer picture page and a question and answer text page, which includes questions such as: What tools are used to generate greenhouse gases at various stages, and how to mitigate global warming.
9. As described in Request 1, the teaching materials on understanding carbon footprints have the words CO₂ marked on the footprint magnetic sticker.
10. The teaching material on understanding carbon footprint as described in claim 1 also includes a support frame on which a model of the Earth is assembled and can rotate relative to the support frame.
