Abstract

This invention relates to a roller shutter door made of composite flexible sheet material, which is composed of a plurality of continuously connected door panels. Each door panel assembly includes a first connecting unit, a second connecting unit, and a door panel unit located between the two. The door panel unit is made of flexible thin sheet material and is fixed to each joint by clamps. Both the first connecting unit and the second connecting unit protrude inward toward the base surface of the door panel to form a first height. A support member is provided on the inner side of the door panel unit, and its protrusion height is similar to the aforementioned first height, so that when the door panel is rolled up, a first and second flexural segment of a mutually spaced rolling arc is formed between the support member and the two connecting units on both sides. The present invention provides a three-point support structure formed by the support member and the connecting units on both sides, which enables the door panel to have a stable and consistent flexural curvature during the winding process, thereby reducing the problems of door panel collision, friction or coating damage caused by insufficient curvature.

Claims

1. A roller door made of composite flexible sheet material, comprising a plurality of door panel assemblies, each door panel assembly having a first connecting unit, a second connecting unit, and door panel units between the two: the roller door panel assembly defines a base surface located on a y-axis, and the two sides of the base surface facing an x-axis direction are defined as an inner side and an outer side of the base surface; each door panel unit is made of a flexible sheet material having a thickness, and includes a door panel panel having a width disposed along the base surface, with each end of the door panel panel in the width direction respectively connected to a joint portion of the first connecting unit and the second connecting unit, and a clamping member connected to the joint portion to fix the door panel unit; the first connecting unit and the second connecting unit have protrusions towards the inner side of the base surface to form... The outermost edge of the door panel has a first height with the base surface; a support member is located between the first connecting unit and the second connecting unit and is attached to the inner surface of the door panel facing the base surface. The support member protrudes towards the base surface to form a second height between its outermost edge and the base surface; the rolling door panel assembly can be transformed into a rolled state. In this state, the first connecting unit and the second connecting unit at both ends of the door panel unit and the support member are located on a flexural arc. The door panel unit is subjected to bending moment between the first connecting unit and the support member to form a first flexural segment, and is subjected to bending moment between the second connecting unit and the support member to form a second flexural segment. The first flexural segment and the second flexural segment are separated from the flexural arc.

2. A roller door made of composite flexible sheet material as described in claim 1, wherein, The difference in dimensional between the first height of the first connecting unit and the second connecting unit and the second height of the support component is less than 10%.

3. A roller door made of composite flexible sheet material as described in claim 1, wherein, The bracket is adhered to the inner surface of the door panel through a foam pad with adhesive. The foam pad is formed of foam material and can be silicone, EVA, PE, PU, EPDM, CR, NBR, TPU, PORON, TPE, EPP, EPS or any combination thereof.

4. A roller door made of composite flexible sheet material as described in any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein, The first connecting unit and the second connecting unit each have a connecting portion on opposite sides of the y-axis.

5. A roller door made of composite flexible sheet material as described in claim 4, wherein, The bracket, the first connecting unit, and the second connecting unit are each provided with a groove on the outermost edge of the base surface. A soft pad is attached to the groove. One side of the soft pad protrudes outward from the groove. There are side grooves on two opposite sides inside the groove. The soft pad has a corresponding protruding edge that fits into the side groove.

6. A roller door made of composite flexible sheet material as described in claims 5 to 5, wherein, The joint has a fastening area located on the outer side of the base surface, and a fastening groove located on the inner side of the base surface adjacent to the fastening area. The fastening groove includes a first sidewall and a second sidewall facing each other and an opening facing the outer side of the base surface. The second sidewall faces a protruding buckle in the fastening groove. The joint has a slot on the outer side of the base surface that extends into the y-axis direction and forms a slot opening facing the fastening area. The clamp has a plug-in portion at one end of the y-axis to engage with the slot and a buckle extending into the fastening groove. The buckle includes an engagement portion engaging with the buckle and a clamping surface facing the first sidewall. The engagement portion is concave and forms a hook portion at its lower edge. The clamping surface and the first sidewall form a first gap for clamping. A folded edge is formed at each end of the door panel. The folded edge and the door panel form a second included angle. The folded edge is clamped in the first gap.

7. A roller door made of composite flexible sheet material as described in claim 6, wherein, Each of the joints includes a supporting structure located outside the first connecting unit and the second connecting unit in the y-axis direction. The outer surface of the supporting structure on the base surface is a main clamping surface. The first side wall connects to the main clamping surface, and the two form a first included angle. The clamp has a clamping surface on one of the extension arms adjacent to the main clamping surface. The main clamping surface and the clamp and clamping surface form a second gap for clamping. The areas near both ends of the door panel are clamped in the second gap.

8. A roller door made of composite flexible sheet material as described in claim 7, wherein, The first and second connecting units are made of aluminum, and the door panel unit is made of steel plate.
