Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a method for determining the weather in a delivery area. Prior Art
[0002] In recent years, with the advancement of communication technology and changes in social and environmental factors, delivery ordering services enabled by online platforms have become increasingly widespread and commonplace. Users can utilize these platforms to enjoy the convenience of purchasing their desired food and receiving it at their desired location, without having to visit a restaurant in person.
[0003] Accurately predicting delivery times is crucial to improving user satisfaction with delivery ordering services. Delivery times are significantly affected by external factors. For example, if the delivery area experiences rain or snow, delivery times will increase, while if the weather is good, delivery times will generally decrease. Therefore, there is a pressing need for technology that can predict delivery times based on weather conditions in the delivery area and provide users with information about delivery status.
[0004] On the other hand, the Meteorological Administration provides weather data by administrative dong. However, since delivery ordering services cover multiple administrative dongs, a single delivery order must be processed through multiple administrative dongs. Summary of the Invention

[0066] Processor 312 can identify the legal cavities included in the delivery area and one or more administrative cavities included in the legal cavities. Processor 312 can obtain information about the legal cavities and administrative cavities included in the delivery area from an external server 300 (e.g., an administrative standard code management system). According to one embodiment, processor 312 can identify the user's location and the restaurant's location to provide a delivery ordering service, and determine a delivery area based on the user's location and the restaurant's location. For example, processor 312 can identify the user's location and, from a plurality of pre-determined delivery areas, identify the delivery area that includes the user's location. Processor 312 can identify the legal cavities included in the determined delivery area and one or more administrative cavities included in the legal cavities. According to one embodiment, the delivery area may include multiple legal cavities. According to one embodiment, the delivery area can be determined based on the boundaries of the legal cavities. For example, the first delivery area may include the entire first legal cavities, and the second delivery area may include the entire second legal cavities. According to another embodiment, the delivery area can be determined regardless of the boundaries of the legal cavities. For example, the first delivery area may include a portion of the first legal hole, and the second delivery area may include another portion of the second legal hole. For convenience, the following description assumes that the delivery area is determined based on the boundaries of the legal hole.
[0067] Processor 312 may determine the center of the delivery area. According to one embodiment, processor 312 may determine the center of the delivery area as the center of the delivery area. According to another embodiment, processor 312 may determine the center of the delivery area based on the population density within the delivery area. Processor 312 may use the determined center of the delivery area to determine the weather in the legal cave. The specific process by which processor 312 determines the weather in the legal cave based on the center of the delivery area will be described below. According to one embodiment, processor 312 may determine the center of the administrative cave using the same method as that used to determine the center of the delivery area.
[0068] Processor 312 can obtain weather data for one or more administrative districts. Upon confirming that one or more administrative districts are included in the delivery area, processor 312 can obtain weather data for one or more administrative districts from an external server 300 (e.g., the Meteorological Agency, Kweather). The weather data can include at least one of current and forecast data for temperature, humidity, precipitation, snowfall, wind direction, and wind speed for the one or more administrative districts.
[0069] Processor 312 can determine the weather of one or more administrative caves based on weather data. Processor 312 can determine the weather of an administrative cave as one of the set weather types. For example, processor 312 can determine the weather of an administrative cave as one of "snowfall," "rainfall," "strong wind," "cloudy," or "clear." However, the weather types that processor 312 can determine as the weather of an administrative cave are not limited to the aforementioned weather types. According to one embodiment, processor 312 can determine the weather of one or more administrative caves based on current data. Processor 312 can determine the current weather of an administrative cave based on weather data of administrative caves obtained from external server 300. For example, if it is raining or snowing in an administrative cave, processor 312 can determine the weather as "snowfall" or "rainfall"; if the wind speed is above a set value, the weather is determined as "strong wind"; and if the cloud cover is above a set value, the weather is determined as "cloudy." If it's not raining or snowing in the current administrative cave, and the wind speed and cloud cover haven't reached the set values, processor 312 may determine the weather as "clear." According to another embodiment, processor 312 may determine the weather for more than one administrative cave based on current data and forecast data. For example, if an order is expected to be delivered in one hour, the current weather in the administrative cave may be determined as "clear." However, if rain is expected in one hour, the weather in the administrative cave may also be determined as "raining."
[0070] According to one embodiment, processor 312 may determine at least one weather type as target weather. Target weather may be weather that has a significant impact on order delivery time. For example, processor 312 may determine "snowfall," "rainfall," or "strong wind" as target weather.
[0071] Processor 312 may determine the weather in a legal cave based on the weather in one or more administrative caves. Processor 312 may determine the weather in a legal cave based on the weather in one or more administrative caves included in the legal cave. Processor 312 may determine the weather in the administrative cave closest to the center of the delivery area among the one or more administrative caves included in the legal cave as the weather in that legal cave. According to one embodiment, processor 312 may determine the centers of each of the one or more administrative caves and, based on the distance from the center of each administrative cave to the center of the delivery area, determine the administrative cave closest to the center of the delivery area. For example, processor 312 may compare distance d1 from the center of the delivery area to the center of the first administrative cave with distance d2 from the center of the delivery area to the center of the second administrative cave to determine the administrative cave closer to the center of the delivery area. For example, if d1 > d2, processor 312 may determine the second administrative cave as the administrative cave closer to the center of the delivery area and determine the weather in the second administrative cave as the weather in the legal cave. The embodiment in which processor 312 determines the administrative cave closest to the center of the delivery area is not limited to the above description. For example, processor 312 may determine the administrative cave closest to the center of the delivery area based on the distance between the center of the delivery area and the boundaries of each administrative cave. According to one embodiment, the method used by processor 312 to determine the center of the delivery area and the method used to determine the center of the administrative cave may differ. For example, the center of the delivery area may be determined using the centroid of the delivery area, while the center of the administrative cave may be determined based on population density.
[0072] Processor 312 may determine the weather in the delivery area based on the weather in the legal holes. Processor 312 may determine the weather in the delivery area based on whether the weather in one or more legal holes included in the delivery area has target weather. According to one embodiment, if the weather in all legal holes included in the delivery area is not target weather, processor 312 may determine the weather in the delivery area as non-target weather. For example, if the weather in all legal holes included in the delivery area is "sunny," processor 312 may determine the weather in the delivery area as "sunny."
[0073] According to another embodiment, if the weather in one or more of the legal holes included in the delivery area is the target weather, the processor 312 may determine the weather in the delivery area as the target weather. For example, if the weather in the first legal hole included in the delivery area is "sunny," the weather in the second legal hole is "sunny," and the weather in the third legal hole is "raining," the processor 312 may determine the weather in the entire delivery area as "raining."
[0074] The following describes the content of notifications provided to user terminals based on the determined weather in the delivery area. Processor 312 can calculate the delivery time for a delivery order based on the weather in the delivery area. Delivery time is determined by factors such as the distance to the delivery location, cooking time, and delivery driver allocation time, but it can be significantly affected by the weather in the delivery area. For example, even if the same food is delivered to the same delivery location, delivery time may increase if it rains or snows in the delivery area, while delivery time may decrease if it is sunny. Processor 312 can calculate the time required for delivery of the order based on the determined weather in the delivery area.
[0075] In response to the weather in the delivery area being determined as the target weather, processor 312 may provide a command directing the user terminal to output a notification regarding the weather in the delivery area. According to one embodiment, processor 312 may transmit a command to the user terminal instructing the user terminal to output a notification regarding the delivery time, which is determined based on the weather in the delivery area. For example, if the weather in the delivery area is currently "raining," processor 312 may transmit a command instructing the user terminal to output a notification indicating that the delivery time may be delayed. Conversely, if the weather in the delivery area is currently "clear," processor 312 may transmit a command instructing the user terminal to output a notification indicating that the delivery time may be shortened.
[0076] 4a, 4b and 4c are diagrams showing an embodiment of an electronic device according to an embodiment of the present invention for determining the weather of a delivery area based on weather data of each administrative district.
[0077] Referring to Figure 4a, a delivery area may include more than one legal hole, and each legal hole may include more than one administrative hole. For example, a delivery area may include a first legal hole 410, a second legal hole 420, a third legal hole 430, and a fourth legal hole 440. The first legal hole 410 may include a first administrative hole 412 and a second administrative hole 414, the second legal hole 420 may include a third administrative hole 422, the third legal hole 430 may include a fourth administrative hole 432, and the fourth legal hole 440 may include a fifth administrative hole 442 and a sixth administrative hole 444. The processor may obtain information about the legal and administrative holes included in the delivery area from an external server.
[0078] The following describes an embodiment in which the processor determines the weather in the delivery area based on the weather in the administrative cave, with reference to Figures 4b and 4c. The processor may determine the weather in each administrative cave based on weather data obtained from an external server. For example, the processor may obtain data on at least one of the following: temperature, humidity, precipitation, snowfall, wind direction, and wind speed for each administrative cave from the external server and determine the weather in each administrative cave based on the obtained weather data. The processor may determine the weather in each administrative cave as one of "clear," "raining," "snowfall," "strong wind," or "cloudy."
[0079] The processor may determine the weather in the legal district based on the weather in the administrative district. According to one embodiment, the processor may determine the weather in the administrative district closest to the center of the delivery area among the one or more administrative districts included in each legal district as the weather in that legal district. The center of the delivery area may be determined based on the center of gravity or population density of the delivery area. For example, the processor may determine the center of the delivery area based on the center of gravity of the delivery area, or may determine the center of the delivery area by assigning a weighted value based on the population density of each administrative district.
[0080] The administrative cave closest to the center of the delivery area can be determined using various methods. According to one embodiment, the center of each administrative cave can be determined, and the administrative cave with the shortest distance from the center of the delivery area to the center of the administrative cave can be determined as the administrative cave closest to the center of the delivery area. According to another embodiment, the administrative cave with the shortest distance from the center of the delivery area to the boundaries of each administrative cave can be determined as the administrative cave closest to the center of the delivery area. The embodiments for determining the administrative cave closest to the center of the delivery area are not limited to the embodiments described above; various methods can be used to determine the administrative cave closest to the center of the delivery area. The following describes an embodiment in which the administrative cave with the shortest distance between the center of the delivery area and the center of the administrative cave is determined as the administrative cave closest to the center of the delivery area, as illustrated in Figures 4b and 4c.
[0081] Referring to Figure 4b, the first legal hole 410 may include the first administrative hole 412 and the second administrative hole 414. The processor may calculate the distance d1 from the center of the first administrative hole 412 to the center of the delivery area, and the distance d2 from the center of the second administrative hole 414 to the center of the delivery area. Because d1 is greater than d2, the processor may determine that the second administrative hole 414 is the administrative hole closest to the center of the delivery area. The second legal hole 420 may include the third administrative hole 422. Because the second legal hole 420 includes only one administrative hole, not multiple administrative holes, the weather in the third administrative hole 422 can be directly determined as the weather in the second legal hole 420. Similarly, the weather in the third legal hole 430 can be determined to be the same as the weather in the fourth administrative hole 432. The fourth legal hole 440 may include the fifth administrative hole 442 and the sixth administrative hole 444. The processor can compare the distance d5 from the center of the delivery area to the center of the fifth administrative cave 442 with the distance d6 from the center of the delivery area to the sixth administrative cave 444 to determine the weather in the fourth legal cave 440. Because d5 is greater than d6, the processor can determine that the fifth administrative cave 442, among the administrative caves included in the fourth legal cave 440, is the closest administrative cave to the center of the delivery area.
[0082] The weather in a legal hole can be determined based on the location of the center of the delivery area. Referring to Figure 4c, in the case of fourth legal hole 440, since the distance d6 from the center of the delivery area 402 to the sixth administrative hole 444 is smaller than the distance d5 from the center of the delivery area 402 to the fifth administrative hole 442, the sixth administrative hole 444 can be determined as the closest administrative hole to the center of the delivery area. The processor can determine the weather in the sixth administrative hole 444 as the weather in the fourth legal hole 440.
[0083] After determining the weather in the legal holes, the processor can determine the weather in the delivery area based on the weather in one or more legal holes included in the delivery area. The processor can confirm whether the weather in the legal holes included in the delivery area contains target weather. If the weather in one or more legal holes is determined to be target weather, the processor can determine the weather in the delivery area as target weather. For example, if the weather in the first legal hole 410 is "snowfall," the weather in the second legal hole 420 is "snowfall," the weather in the third legal hole 430 is "clear," and the weather in the fourth legal hole 440 is "clear," the processor can determine the weather in the delivery area as "snowfall." If the weather in all legal holes included in the delivery area is not target weather, the processor can determine the weather in the delivery area as "clear."
[0084] FIG. 5 is a sequence diagram of a method for an electronic device to determine the weather of a delivery area according to an embodiment of the present invention.
[0085] In step 500, the electronic device may identify the legal holes included in the delivery area and one or more administrative holes included in the legal holes. The electronic device may communicate with an external server to obtain information about the legal holes and administrative holes included in the delivery area. The delivery area may include more than one legal hole, and each legal hole may include more than one administrative hole.
[0086] In step 502, the electronic device may obtain weather data for one or more administrative caves. The electronic device may obtain weather data for each administrative cave from an external server. The weather data may include at least one of temperature, humidity, precipitation, snowfall, wind direction, and wind speed. The weather data may include current weather data and forecast data for the administrative cave. The forecast data may be data that predicts future weather based on the current weather. In step 504, the electronic device may determine the weather for one or more administrative caves based on the weather data. According to one embodiment, the electronic device may determine the weather for the administrative cave as one of "clear," "snowfall," "rainfall," "strong wind," or "cloudy" based on the weather data.
[0087] In step 506, the electronic device may determine the weather in the legal cave based on the weather in one or more administrative caves. The electronic device may determine, among the legal caves that include a plurality of administrative caves, the administrative cave closest to the center of the delivery area. According to one embodiment, the electronic device may determine the administrative cave with the shortest distance between the center of the delivery area and the center of the administrative cave as the administrative cave closest to the center of the delivery area. According to another embodiment, the electronic device may determine the administrative cave with the shortest distance from the center of the delivery area to the boundary of the administrative cave as the administrative cave closest to the center of the delivery area. The electronic device may determine the weather in the administrative cave closest to the center of the delivery area as the weather in the legal cave that includes the administrative cave. For example, if the first administrative cave and the second administrative cave included in the legal cave are closer to the center of the delivery area, the electronic device may determine the weather in the first administrative cave as the weather in the legal cave.
[0088] In step 508, the electronic device may determine the weather in the delivery area based on the weather in the legal holes. The electronic device may determine the weather in the delivery area based on whether the weather in the multiple legal holes included in the delivery area includes the target weather. If one or more legal holes in the multiple legal holes included in the delivery area have the target weather, the electronic device may determine the weather in the delivery area as the target weather. Conversely, if none of the multiple legal holes included in the delivery area have the target weather, the electronic device may determine the weather in the delivery area as non-target weather. For example, the electronic device may determine the weather in the delivery area as "sunny."
[0089] FIG6 is a sequence diagram of a method for an electronic device to determine the weather of a statutory cave based on the weather of an administrative cave according to an embodiment of the present invention.
[0090] In step 600, the electronic device may determine the center of the delivery area. The electronic device may determine the center of the delivery area by considering the center of gravity and population density of the delivery area. For example, the electronic device may determine the center of gravity as the delivery area's center based on the delivery area's topography, shape, or boundaries. Alternatively, the electronic device may determine the center of the delivery area by considering the population density of the delivery area, assigning higher weights to areas with higher population densities and lower weights to areas with lower population densities. According to one embodiment, the electronic device may also determine the center of an administrative cave using the same method.
[0091] In step 602, the electronic device may determine the administrative hole closest to the center of the delivery area among one or more administrative holes. According to one embodiment, the electronic device may determine the center of each administrative hole and determine the administrative hole with the shortest distance from the center of the delivery area to the center of the administrative hole as the administrative hole closest to the center of the delivery area. According to another embodiment, the electronic device may determine the administrative hole with the shortest distance from the center of the delivery area to the boundary of the administrative hole as the administrative hole closest to the center of the delivery area.
[0092] In step 604, the electronic device may determine the weather in the administrative cave closest to the center of the delivery area as the weather in the legal cave. If the legal cave includes multiple administrative caves, the electronic device may determine the weather in the administrative cave closest to the center of the delivery area as the weather in the legal cave that includes that administrative cave. After step 604, the electronic device may determine the weather in the delivery area based on the weather in the legal cave in step 508.
[0093] FIG7 is a sequence diagram of a method for an electronic device according to an embodiment of the present invention to determine the weather of a delivery area based on whether the weather of the legal holes included in the delivery area includes the target weather.
[0094] In step 700, the electronic device may determine whether the weather in at least one of the one or more legal holes is the target weather. If the weather in at least one of the legal holes is the target weather, in step 702, the electronic device may determine the weather in the delivery area as the target weather. For example, if the weather in one of the legal holes included in the delivery area is "raining," the weather in the delivery area including that legal hole may be determined as "raining." If there is no legal hole with the target weather, in step 704, the electronic device may determine the weather in the delivery area as non-target weather. For example, the electronic device may determine the weather in the delivery area as "clear."
