Abstract

A fixing device is applied to a camera to form a surveillance device. The fixing device includes a base, a positioning mechanism, and at least one limiting member. The positioning mechanism is disposed on the base for securing one side of the camera. The at least one limiting member is disposed on the base relative to the positioning mechanism. The at least one limiting member includes a limiting portion and a supporting portion. The limiting portion is disposed at a top of one side of the base. The supporting portion is disposed at one side of the base and spaced apart from the limiting portion, and the supporting portion cooperates with the limiting portion to clamp the camera.

Claims

1. A fixing device for a camera, the fixing device comprising: a base; a positioning mechanism disposed on the base, the positioning mechanism including a latching member for securing one side of the camera, and a reset element at both ends of the latching member and the base respectively; and at least one limiting member disposed on the base at a position relative to the positioning mechanism, the at least one limiting member comprising: a limiting portion disposed on the base; and a support portion disposed on the base and located at one side end of the limiting portion and spaced apart from the limiting portion, the support portion cooperating with the limiting portion to clamp the camera.

2. The fixing device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the snap fastener is movably disposed in a slot of the base.

3. The fixing device as claimed in claim 2, wherein the positioning mechanism further includes a restraint member disposed on the latching member to restrict the movement of the latching member relative to the base.

4. The fixing device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one limiting member further includes a supporting portion disposed on the base and located at the other end of the limiting portion, for use in conjunction with the limiting portion to clamp the camera when the buckle is not holding the camera, wherein a plane normal vector of the supporting portion and a plane normal vector of the base have an included angle.

5. The fixing device as claimed in claim 4, wherein the supporting portion is spaced apart from the limiting portion, and the distance between the supporting portion and the limiting portion is greater than the distance between the supporting portion and the limiting portion.

6. The fixing device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the fixing device further includes a pressure mechanism disposed at a position on the base adjacent to the positioning mechanism for applying pressure to the side of the camera to change a tilt angle of the camera relative to the base.

7. The fixing device as claimed in claim 6, wherein the pressure mechanism includes a base and a pusher rotatably disposed within the base for detachably abutting the side of the camera.

8. The fixing device as claimed in claim 7, wherein rotation of the pusher changes the extension length of the pusher relative to one of the bases, and the pusher is slidably abutted against the side of the camera.

9. The fixing device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the fixing device further includes a friction element disposed at a position on the base facing the camera for abutting against the camera to limit its rotation.

10. The fixing device as claimed in claim 4, wherein the end of the limiting portion away from the base has a hook, and one end of the hook extends toward a center of the base.

11. The fixing device as claimed in claim 4, wherein a limiting space is formed between the supporting portion, the supporting portion and the limiting portion, the limiting space being used to clamp the camera.

12. The fixing device as claimed in claim 11, wherein the maximum vertical distance between one end of the support portion away from the base and one of the bases is less than or equal to the maximum vertical distance between one end of the support portion away from the base and one of the bases.

13. A surveillance device comprising a camera and a mounting device as described in any one of claims 1 to 12.
