Abstract

This invention provides a quick-release structure comprising a first connector and a second connector. The first connector has a first external portion, two slots, a first latching portion, and an operating arm. The second connector has a second external portion, two latching posts, and a second latching portion. The two slots of the first connector are aligned with either of the latching posts of the second connector, causing the slots to slide toward the latching post, allowing the first latching portion to engage with the second latching portion. If the operating arm is then pulled outward, the second latching portion disengages from the first latching portion. Accordingly, the first and second connectors are respectively assembled to two objects, allowing the user to quickly lock or unlock the two objects using the quick-release structure.

Claims

1. A quick-release structure comprising: a first connector having a first external portion, two slot portions, a first latching portion, and an operating arm, wherein the slot portions and the operating arm extend from the side of the first external portion, each slot portion having a connecting groove extending through both ends, and the operating arm being located between the two slot portions, the first latching portion being disposed on the inner side of the operating arm, and the slot portions and the operating arm together forming an open space communicating with the connecting grooves, the open space having an open entrance / exit located on the opposite side of the operating arm; and a second connector having a second external portion, two latching posts, and a second latching portion, wherein the latching posts extend from the side of the second external portion and are spaced apart by a distance, and the second latching portion being disposed on the side of the second external portion; wherein... Any of the locking pins of the second connector can enter from the open entrance / exit of the open space. When the open space of the first connector surrounds any of the locking pins of the second connector, the locking slots slide toward the locking pins. When the locking pins are accommodated in the connecting slot and the first latch engages with the second latch, the first connector and the second connector are locked. If the operating arm is pulled outward, the engagement between the second latch and the first latch is released, and any of the locking slots of the first connector can be moved between the locking pins. The other locking slot is located outside the second connector. Any of the locking pins of the second connector is located in the open space and can be moved out from the open entrance / exit of the open space. The first connector and the second connector are unlocked.

2. The quick-release structure as described in claim 1, wherein each of the slot portions of the first connector includes a first annular wall and a second annular wall, a slot is formed between the first annular wall and the second annular wall, the connecting slot is surrounded by the first annular wall and the second annular wall and communicates to the outside through the slot.

3. The quick-release structure as described in claim 2, wherein each of the connecting slots of each slot portion has an opening at both ends, and each opening is interconnected with the other and connected to the open space.

4. The quick-release structure as described in claim 2, wherein the outer surfaces of the first annular wall and the second annular wall of each of the slot portions form a plurality of equidistantly arranged first structural grooves.

5. The quick-release structure as described in claim 1, wherein the first latch portion of the first connector protrudes from the inner side of the operating arm.

6. The quick-release structure as described in claim 1, wherein the operating arm of the first connector forms a through hole, through which a pull rope is inserted and fixed, and the pull rope drives the operating arm to operate.

7. The quick-release structure as described in claim 1, wherein the outer surface of the locking post of the second connector forms a plurality of equidistantly arranged second structural grooves.

8. The quick-release structure as described in claim 1, wherein the second latching portion of the second connector includes two latching members, at least one side of the latching members forming an inclined surface, each of the inclined surfaces tapering from the center of the second outer portion to a position away from the center of the second outer portion, and when the first connector and the second connector are locked, the latching members abut against both ends of the first latching portion.

9. The quick-release structure as described in claim 1, wherein the outer shape of each of the connecting slots of the first connector forms an inner arc segment and an outer stepped segment, and the outer shape of each of the locking posts of the second connector forms an inner stepped segment and an outer arc segment corresponding to the outer shape of each of the connecting slots.
