Abstract

A display device includes a first component, a second component, and a plurality of connectors disposed between the two components along their periphery. A gap extending from the outer side of the periphery toward the inner side of the periphery is provided between two adjacent connectors. The gap has a first width at the outer side of the periphery and a second width at the inner side of the periphery, with the second width being greater than the first width, so that the gap extends obliquely toward the upper side of the display device, thereby blocking capillary action of liquids and effectively improving the waterproof performance of the display device.

Claims

1. A display device, comprising: First component; A second component, which is at least partially overlapped with the first component; A plurality of connectors are located between the first component and the second component and extend along the periphery of at least one of the first component and the second component to connect the first component and the second component respectively. A gap extending from the outer side of the periphery toward the inner side of the periphery is provided between two adjacent connectors. The gap has a first width at the outer side of the periphery and a second width near the inner side of the periphery. The second width is different from the first width. When the combined first component and second component are in an upright state, the gap extends obliquely from the outer side of the periphery toward the upper side of the first component and the second component.

2. The display device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the width of the gap gradually increases from the outer periphery toward the inner periphery.

3. The display device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the second width is greater than the first width.

4. The display device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the gap maintains the same width in the portion near the outer edge of the periphery, and the gap has a larger width in the portion near the inner edge of the periphery as it gets closer to the inner edge of the periphery.

5. A display device, comprising: First component; A second component, which is at least partially overlapped with the first component; A plurality of connectors are located between the first component and the second component and extend along the periphery of at least one of the first component and the second component to connect the first component and the second component respectively. Each connector includes an adjacent first connector and a second connector, each having a first end and a second end. The first end has a first inclined side, and the second end has a second inclined side. A gap is formed between the first inclined side and the second inclined side. The first inclined side has a first apex angle with the outer boundary of the first connector, and the second inclined side has a second apex angle with the inner boundary of the second connector. The first apex angle and the second apex angle have different angles. When the combined first component and the second component are in an upright state, the gap extends obliquely from the outer periphery toward the upper side of the first component and the second component.

6. The display device as claimed in claim 5, wherein the gap gradually widens and extends from the outer periphery toward the inner periphery.

7. The display device as claimed in claim 5, wherein the first bevel and the second bevel each include a first extension and a second extension parallel to the first extension in the portion near the outer periphery.

8. The display device as claimed in claim 5, wherein either the first bevel or the second bevel is further recessed with a groove communicating with the gap.

9. The display device as claimed in claim 5, wherein the angle of the second apex angle is greater than the angle of the first apex angle.

10. A display device, comprising: First component; A second component, which is at least partially overlapped with the first component; A plurality of connectors are located between the first component and the second component and extend along the periphery of at least one of the first component and the second component to connect the first component and the second component respectively. Two adjacent connectors have adjacent first ends and second ends respectively. The first end has a first inclined edge and the second end has a second inclined edge. A gap is formed between the first inclined edge and the second inclined edge. When the assembled first component and the second component are in a vertical position, the gap extends obliquely from the outer periphery toward the upper side of the first component and the second component, and the first inclined edge and the second inclined edge have different inclination angles toward the upper side of the first component and the second component.

11. The display device as claimed in claim 10, wherein the gap gradually widens from the outer side of the periphery toward the inner side of the periphery.

12. The display device as claimed in claim 10, wherein the first inclined side and the second inclined side each have a first extension and a second extension parallel to the first extension.

13. The display device as claimed in claim 10, wherein either the first bevel or the second bevel is further recessed with a groove communicating with the gap.

14. A vehicle display system for installation in a vehicle, comprising a display device as described in any one of claims 1 to 13.
