Abstract

This invention relates to an extraction method for Polygonaceae plants and the extract obtained by the extraction method. The extraction method for Polygonaceae plants includes a heating step: heating dried powder of the Polygonaceae plant with an average diameter of 1.45 to 5.55 mm in water at 80-100°C for 45 to 55 minutes to obtain an extract of the Polygonaceae plant. In some embodiments, the total flavonoid content of the extract of the Polygonaceae plant is more than 5 mg per gram of dried plant. The extraction method of Polygonaceae plants of this invention can be further centrifuged using the centrifugal filter of this invention during the heating step to obtain an aqueous extract of Polygonaceae plants with a high content of flavonoids.

Claims

1. An extraction method for a Polygonaceae plant, characterized in that the extraction method includes a heating step: heating a dried powder of the Polygonaceae plant with an average diameter of 1.45 to 5.55 mm in water at 80-100°C for 45 to 55 minutes to obtain an extract of the Polygonaceae plant, wherein... The Polygonaceae plant is Persicaria hydropiper, Persicaria odorata, or a combination thereof, and the total flavonoid content in the extract of the Polygonaceae plant is 2.78 to 5.31 mg per gram of dried plant.

2. The plant in question is Persicaria hydropiper. The total content of neochlorogenic acid and chlorogenic acid in the extract of this plant is 0.10 to 0.79 mg per gram of dried plant.

3. The extraction method for Polygonaceae plants as described in claim 1, wherein, This flavonoid compound includes quercetin-3-O glucuronide (Miquelianin) and rutin.

4. The extraction method for Polygonaceae plants as described in claim 1 or 2, wherein, The extraction method for this Polygonaceae plant further includes a centrifugal filtration step after the heating step.

5. The extraction method for Polygonaceae plants as described in claim 4, wherein, The centrifugal filtration step is performed using a centrifugal filter, which includes: a centrifugal drum and a rotary filter; the rotary filter is disposed in the centrifugal drum, and the centrifugal drum includes a receiving space for containing the raw material liquid; the rotary filter includes a filter body and a filtrate discharge pipe, the filter body having a filter cylinder that encloses a filtrate collection space; the filtrate discharge pipe is connected to the filtrate collection space to discharge the filtrate; wherein, by rotating at least one of the centrifugal drum and the rotary filter, the raw material liquid in the centrifugal drum is driven to generate a vortex, thereby causing the raw material liquid to form a heavy phase fluid thrown towards the centrifugal drum and a light phase fluid approaching the filter cylinder, and the light phase fluid is filtered through the filter cylinder, and the filtrate is generated in the filtrate collection space, and the filtrate is discharged from the centrifugal filter through the filtrate discharge pipe.

6. The extraction method for Polygonaceae plants as described in claim 5, wherein, The heating step is performed using a centrifugal filter.

7. The extraction method for Polygonaceae plants as described in claim 5, wherein, The flow rate of the raw material liquid entering the centrifugal filter is greater than or equal to the amount of liquid filtered out of the filter cartridge.

8. The extraction method for Polygonaceae plants as described in claim 5, wherein, The flow rate of the raw material liquid entering the centrifugal filter is greater than or equal to the flow rate of the filtrate discharged from the filtrate discharge pipe.

9. The extraction method for Polygonaceae plants as described in claim 5, wherein, The centrifugal drum includes a turbid liquid outlet, from which the heavy phase fluid is discharged in the form of turbid liquid; and the flow rate of the raw material liquid entering the centrifugal filter is greater than or equal to the sum of the flow rate of the turbid liquid discharged from the turbid liquid outlet and the amount of liquid filtered out of the filter drum.

10. An extract of a Polygonaceae plant, obtained by an extraction method of the Polygonaceae plant as described in any one of claims 1 to 9.
