Abstract

This invention provides a test fixture board and the applicable test method therein, which can unify and simplify the PCBA testing process. The test fixture board includes an uplink connector, a downlink connector, and a programmable main control module. The uplink connector connects to a host computer. The downlink connector connects to the board under test (DUT). The programmable main control module sets up input / output interfaces and multiple communication interfaces, so that the input / output interfaces are coupled to the downlink connector and the DUT through multiple communication interfaces. The programmable main control module executes a test program based on the DUT's test information to generate test results.

Claims

1. A test fixture plate, comprising: At least one upstream connector for connecting to a host; At least one downstream connector is provided for connecting at least one board under test; The system also includes a programmable master control module coupled to the at least one upstream connector, for: setting an input / output interface and a plurality of communication interfaces to program the input / output interface and the communication interfaces into a plurality of logic circuits, so that the input / output interface is coupled to the at least one downstream connector and the at least one board under test through the communication interfaces; and executing a test program based on the test information of the at least one board under test to generate a test result corresponding to the at least one board under test.

2. The test fixture board as claimed in claim 1, wherein the communication interfaces include multiple hardware circuits conforming to different communication protocols.

3. The test fixture board as claimed in claim 1, wherein the programmable main control module is further configured to: identify a category of the at least one board under test based on the test information, so as to select the test program.

4. The test fixture board as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one downstream connector includes a plurality of downstream connectors, and the at least one board under test includes a plurality of boards under test, wherein the input / output interface is used to couple the downstream connectors through the communication interface, and also to couple the boards under test through the downstream connectors.

5. The test fixture plate as described in claim 4, further comprising: At least one bridging card has a first connector for connecting to one of the downlink connectors, and a second connector of the at least one bridging card for connecting to one of the boards under test, wherein the first connector is different from the second connector.

6. The test fixture board as claimed in claim 4, wherein the downstream connectors are respectively used to connect the test boards belonging to the same category.

7. The test fixture board as claimed in claim 4, wherein the downstream connectors are respectively used to connect the test boards belonging to different categories.

8. The test fixture board as claimed in claim 4, wherein the programmable main control module is configured to execute multiple test programs based on multiple logic blocks to simultaneously test the boards under test and generate test results corresponding to the boards under test.

9. The test fixture board as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one uplink connector includes a plurality of uplink connectors, wherein the input / output interface is also coupled to the uplink connectors through the communication interface, and is also coupled to the host and a display through the uplink connectors.

10. The test fixture board as claimed in claim 1, wherein the programmable main control module is a field-programmable gate array (FPGA) module or a development board.

11. A test method applicable to a test fixture plate, the test method comprising: A host computer is connected through at least one upstream connector of the test fixture board; at least one board under test (DUT) is connected through at least one downstream connector of the test fixture board; an input / output interface and multiple communication interfaces are configured through a programmable main control module of the test fixture board to program the input / output interface and the communication interfaces into multiple logic circuits, so that the input / output interface is coupled to the at least one downstream connector and the at least one DUT through the communication interfaces; and a test program is executed through the programmable main control module according to the test information of the at least one DUT to generate a test result corresponding to the at least one DUT.
