Abstract

This invention discloses a touch device and method for interpreting and operating a combination of a stylus and a gesture, comprising: a touch control unit for generating signals based on input from a stylus and a gesture from a touch panel, and generating a first touch control signal corresponding to the stylus and a second touch control signal corresponding to the gesture; a touch processing unit for processing the first touch control signal to generate a first processing signal and processing the second touch control signal to generate a second processing signal; and an interpreter unit for configuring settings when the stylus is used. The interpretation unit performs an interpretation process on the gesture or position, interpreting the first processing signal and the second processing signal. The interpretation unit then generates a first interpretation signal corresponding to the first processing signal and a second interpretation signal corresponding to the second processing signal. The first interpretation signal and the second interpretation signal are transmitted to the touch processing unit. The touch processing unit then performs corresponding system operations based on the first interpretation signal and the second interpretation signal, enabling the stylus and the gesture to perform collaborative interactive operations.

Claims

1. A touch device for interpreting and operating a combination of a stylus and a gesture, comprising: a touch control unit, which generates signals based on input from a stylus and a gesture from a touch panel, and generates a first touch control signal corresponding to the stylus and a second touch control signal corresponding to the gesture; a touch processing unit, which processes the first touch control signal to generate a first processing signal and processes the second touch control signal to generate a second processing signal; and an interpreter unit, which, when the stylus is used in conjunction with a set gesture or position, selects to perform an interpretation program, interprets the first processing signal and the second processing signal, and generates a first interpretation signal corresponding to the first processing signal and a second interpretation signal corresponding to the second processing signal, the first interpretation signal and the second interpretation signal being transmitted to the touch processing unit; wherein... The touch processing unit then executes corresponding system operations based on the first interpretation signal and the second interpretation signal, enabling the stylus and the gesture to perform collaborative interactive operations. When the touch control unit determines that the stylus is hovering over or touching the touch panel, and at the same time the touch control unit determines that there is another gesture on the touch panel, but only a gesture with one finger is detected on the touch panel, the interpretation program unit does not enter the interpretation program.

2. The touch device as claimed in claim 1, wherein, The interpreter unit has a database that stores control instructions corresponding to the combination of the first processing signal and the second processing signal. When entering the interpreter, the interpreter unit searches the database based on the first processing signal and the second processing signal, and finds the control instructions corresponding to the combination of the first processing signal and the second processing signal. The interpreter unit then redefines the first processing signal and the second processing signal to generate the first interpretation signal corresponding to the first processing signal and the second interpretation signal corresponding to the second processing signal for system operation.

3. In any of the claims 1 to 2, when the touch control unit determines that the stylus is hovering over or touching the touch panel, but the touch control unit determines that there is another gesture on the touch panel and detects a gesture of at least two fingers on the touch panel, the touch processing unit sends the first processing signal and the second processing signal to the interpreter unit to enable it to enter the interpretation program of the stylus and the gesture.

4. As described in any one of claims 1 to 2, when the interpreter unit does not enter the interpreter program, the interpreter unit directly sends the first processing signal and the second processing signal to the touch processing unit, and the touch processing unit generates a control signal and a second control signal based on the first processing signal and the second processing signal, and directly transmits the control signal and the second control signal to the system.

5. The touch device as claimed in claim 2, wherein, The database has a virtual handwriting pad mode; in the interpretation process, the stylus tip is mapped from a first coordinate on the touch panel to a second coordinate on the touch panel, that is, when the first processing signal is redefined as the first interpretation signal, the first interpretation signal has the second coordinate information after the first coordinate is mapped.

6. The touch device as claimed in claim 5, wherein, In this virtual handwriting tablet mode, the first coordinate of the stylus can be transformed into the coordinates of the entire touch panel area as the corresponding second coordinate.

7. A touch method for interpreting and operating a combination of a stylus and gestures, comprising the following steps: a touch control unit receiving stylus input and gesture input from a touch panel, generating a first touch control signal and a second touch control signal respectively; a touch processing unit processing the first touch control signal and the second touch control signal respectively to generate a corresponding first processing signal and a second processing signal; an interpretation unit selectively interpreting the first processing signal and the second processing signal according to the conditions of a set gesture or position when using the stylus, generating a corresponding first interpretation signal and a second interpretation signal; and the touch processing unit generating and sending corresponding system control commands based on the first interpretation signal and the second interpretation signal to perform a cooperative operation; wherein, When the touch control unit determines that the stylus is hovering over or touching the touch panel, and at the same time the touch control unit determines that there is another gesture on the touch panel, but only a gesture with one finger is detected on the touch panel, the interpreter unit does not enter the interpreter program.

8. The touch method as described in claim 7, wherein, The interpreter unit includes a database that stores multiple sets of control instructions corresponding to the combination of the first processing signal and the second processing signal. When the selective interpreter is started, the interpreter unit searches for and finds the corresponding control instructions from the database based on the combination of the first processing signal and the second processing signal, and further generates the first interpretation signal and the second interpretation signal for system operation.

9. The touch method as described in any of claims 7 to 8, wherein, When the touch control unit determines that the stylus is hovering over or touching the touch panel, and detects a gesture of at least two fingers on the touch panel, the touch processing unit transmits the first processing signal and the second processing signal to the interpreter unit, triggering the stylus and gesture interpretation program to perform coordinated operation control.

10. The touch method as described in any of claims 7 to 8, wherein, When the interpreter unit does not enter the interpreter program, the interpreter unit directly sends the first processing signal and the second processing signal to the touch processing unit, and the touch processing unit transmits a control signal and a second control signal to the system based on the first processing signal and the second processing signal.
