Abstract

A waterproof structure includes a cover, a shell, a wire assembly, and a sealant. The shell includes a wall portion forming an accommodating space. The wall portion has an end face for the cover to close. The end face has an annular groove and a recess extending from the annular groove away from the cover. The wire assembly includes a wire body and a stress-relieving portion partially covering the wire body. The stress-relieving portion includes a first baffle, a second baffle, and a connecting portion connecting the first baffle and the second baffle. The first baffle and the second baffle respectively close the recess from the inner and outer sides of the wall portion. The stress-relieving portion exposes an annular surface portion of the wire body between the first baffle and the second baffle. The sealant is injected into the annular groove and the recess, sealing the junctions between the annular surface portion and the first baffle and the second baffle, respectively.

Claims

1. A waterproof structure comprising: a cover; a housing including a wall portion surrounding and forming an accommodating space, the wall portion having an end face for the cover to close, the end face having an annular groove and a recessed portion recessed away from the cover portion from the annular groove; a wire assembly including a wire body and a stress-relieving portion partially covering the wire body, wherein the stress-relieving portion includes a first baffle, a second baffle, and a connecting portion connecting the first baffle and the second baffle, the first baffle and the second baffle respectively closing the recessed portion from the inner and outer sides of the wall portion, and the stress-relieving portion exposing an annular surface portion of the wire body between the first baffle and the second baffle, wherein the connecting portion has a cutout portion exposing the annular surface portion; and a sealant injected into the annular groove and the recessed portion, and sealing the junctions between the annular surface portion and the first baffle and the second baffle respectively.

2. The waterproof structure as described in claim 1, wherein the sealant fully contacts the annular surface portion.

3. The waterproof structure as described in claim 1, wherein the perforation extends from the side of the connecting portion facing the cover to the side away from the cover.

4. The waterproof structure as described in claim 1, wherein the stress relief part is a single-unit structure.

5. The waterproof structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the end face includes an outer portion and an inner portion, the annular groove is connected between the outer portion and the inner portion, the outer portion abuts against the cover, and the inner portion is separate from the cover.

6. The waterproof structure as claimed in claim 5, wherein the housing further includes a bottom connected to the side of the wall portion away from the end face, and the height of the outer portion relative to the bottom is greater than the height of the inner portion relative to the bottom.

7. The waterproof structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the cover has a fitting surface that fits onto the end face, the fitting surface has an annular flange that extends into the annular groove and is embedded in the sealant.

8. The waterproof structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the end face includes an inner face connected to the inner edge of the annular groove and has a stepped bearing surface away from the recess of the cover, and the first baffle engages with the stepped bearing surface in a matching manner.

9. The waterproof structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the end face includes an outer portion connected to the outer edge of the annular groove and has a stepped bearing surface away from the recess of the cover, and the second baffle engages with the stepped bearing surface in a matching manner.
