Abstract

The disclosed cooking system includes: a range hood equipped with an audiovisual sensing module and a main controller, the main controller being electrically connected to the audiovisual sensing module; and a heater equipped with a heat controller, the heat controller and the main controller being able to wirelessly communicate with each other. The heat controller is configured to control the heat energy to be provided to a cookware containing food. The audiovisual sensing module is configured to sense a thermal image and a volume level towards the food. The main controller is configured to adjust the airflow of the range hood based on the thermal image and the volume level. The main controller is configured to generate an electric heating command based on cooking information associated with the thermal image. The heat controller is configured to provide a planar heat distribution to the cookware based on the electric heating command. The planar heat distribution includes several heating zones and a corresponding electrical power for each heating zone. This improves cooking quality.
