Abstract

This document provides a circuit board and a method for manufacturing the circuit board. The circuit board is suitable for transmitting DP signals or HDMI signals. The circuit board includes: a receiving space, a first switching integrated circuit, and a second switching integrated circuit. The receiving space is configured to be compatible with both DP and HDMI connectors. The first switching integrated circuit is configured to transmit a first signal at a first frequency. The second switching integrated circuit is configured to transmit a second signal at a second frequency. The first frequency is higher than the second frequency.

Claims

1. A circuit board adapted to transmit a DP (DisplayPort) signal or an HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) signal, and the circuit board comprising: A receiving space is provided for accommodating a connector, wherein a specification of the connector is configured to be compatible with both a DP connector and an HDMI connector; A first switching integrated circuit is electrically connected to the connector and configured to transmit a first signal at a first frequency; And a second switching integrated circuit, electrically connected to the connector and configured to transmit a second signal at a second frequency, wherein the first frequency is higher than the second frequency.

2. The circuit board as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first signal includes an image signal.

3. The circuit board as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first signal includes: The DP signal or the HDMI signal is a DDI (Digital Display Interface) signal; Or a TCP (Type-C Port) signal of the DP signal.

4. The circuit board as claimed in claim 1, wherein the second signal includes a communication signal.

5. The circuit board as claimed in claim 1, wherein the second signal includes: The DP signal is an AUX (Auxiliary Channel) signal; or the HDMI signal is a DDC-DATA (Display Data Channel Data) signal or a CLK Link (Clock Link) signal.

6. The circuit board as claimed in claim 1, wherein the second signal includes: A hot-swap detection signal is configured to detect a connection status of the circuit board.

7. The circuit board as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first switching integrated circuit includes a signal enhancement circuit, and the signal enhancement circuit is configured to enhance a signal strength of the first signal.

8. The circuit board as claimed in claim 1, wherein the second switching integrated circuit includes a voltage conversion circuit and the voltage conversion circuit is configured to convert a voltage level of the second signal.

9. The circuit board as claimed in claim 1, wherein the second switching integrated circuit includes a configuration pin, and the configuration pin is configured to transmit resolution information of a display device.

10. The circuit board as claimed in claim 1, wherein the circuit board further comprises: Multiple shared pins are configured to transmit the DP signal or the HDMI signal.

A method for manufacturing a circuit board, the circuit board being adapted to transmit a DP (DisplayPort) signal or an HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) signal, and the method comprising: A receiving space is provided on the circuit board, and the receiving space is adapted to house a connector, wherein the connector is configured to be compatible with a DP connector and an HDMI connector; a first switching integrated circuit is provided on the circuit board, and the first switching integrated circuit is electrically connected to the connector and is configured to transmit a first signal at a first frequency; and a second switching integrated circuit is provided on the circuit board, and the second switching integrated circuit is electrically connected to the connector and is configured to transmit a second signal at a second frequency, wherein the first frequency is higher than the second frequency.
