Habitat construction device and method thereof for aquatic animals and plants

Abstract

A method for creating habitats for aquatic animals and plants includes: providing at least one algae cultivation substrate, wherein the algae cultivation substrate has at least one algae cultivation surface; disposing at least one periphery on the algae cultivation substrate; disposing at least one locking portion on the periphery of the algae cultivation substrate; and using the locking portion of the algae cultivation substrate to lock at least one other algae cultivation substrate or at least one locking portion of the other algae cultivation substrate, so as to form at least one three-dimensional habitat assembly module.

Claims

1. A habitat creation device for aquatic animals and plants, comprising: at least one three-dimensional habitat assembly module for providing habitat space for at least one aquatic animal and plant or space for at least one aquatic animal to shelter, inhabit and lay eggs, comprising: at least one algae cultivation substrate having at least one algae cultivation surface; at least one side periphery disposed on the algae cultivation substrate; and at least one locking portion disposed on the side periphery of the algae cultivation substrate, wherein the locking portion is selected from a slit locking portion, a groove locking portion, a serrated locking portion, an elastic tight-fitting locking portion or any combination thereof; wherein the locking portion of the algae cultivation substrate is used to lock at least one other algae cultivation substrate or at least one locking portion of the other algae cultivation substrate to form the at least one three-dimensional habitat assembly module.

2. The habitat creation device for aquatic animals and plants as described in claim 1, wherein the algae cultivation substrate is selected from a planar substrate, a curved substrate, a wavy substrate, a bent substrate, a rolled substrate, or any combination thereof.

3. The habitat creation device for aquatic animals and plants as described in claim 1, wherein the algae cultivation substrate has a regular or irregular outline.

4. The habitat creation device for aquatic animals and plants as described in claim 3, wherein the regular appearance outline is selected from a polygonal outline, a circular outline, an elliptical outline, an annular outline, a star-shaped outline or any combination thereof.

The habitat creation device for aquatic animals and plants as described in claim 1, wherein the latching part of the algae cultivation substrate is used to combine at least one other algae cultivation substrate or at least one latching part of the other algae cultivation substrate by a detachable latching method.

A method for creating habitats for aquatic animals and plants, comprising: providing at least one algae cultivation substrate, wherein the algae cultivation substrate has at least one algae cultivation surface; disposing of at least one side periphery on the algae cultivation substrate; disposing of at least one locking portion on the side periphery of the algae cultivation substrate, wherein the locking portion is selected from a slit-type locking portion, a groove-type locking portion, a serrated locking portion, an elastically tight-fitting locking portion, or any combination thereof; and using the locking portion of the algae cultivation substrate to lock at least one other algae cultivation substrate or at least one locking portion of the other algae cultivation substrate to form at least one three-dimensional habitat assembly module, wherein the three-dimensional habitat assembly module is used to provide habitat space for at least one aquatic animal and plant or space for at least one aquatic animal to shelter, inhabit, and lay eggs.

The method for creating habitats for aquatic animals and plants as described in claim 6, wherein the algae cultivation substrate is made of a metal material, a wood material, a bamboo material, a rattan material, a plastic material, a brick material, a ceramic tile material, a fiberglass material, a composite material, or any combination thereof.

8. The method for creating habitats for aquatic animals and plants as described in claim 6, wherein the algae cultivation surface is selected from a surface on which algae can attach.

9. The method for creating habitats for aquatic animals and plants as described in claim 6, wherein the algae cultivation substrate has a regular or irregular outline.

10. The method for creating habitats for aquatic animals and plants as described in claim 6, wherein the latching portion of the algae cultivation substrate is used to combine at least one other algae cultivation substrate or at least one latching portion of the other algae cultivation substrate with a detachable latching method.
