Cable management module

Abstract

A cable management module suitable for accommodating at least one cable includes a base, a cable management bracket, and a sliding cover. The cable management bracket is connected to the base and includes a plurality of slots arranged in one direction, at least one of which is configured to accommodate at least one cable. The sliding cover is slidably connected to the cable management bracket and configured to slide relative to the cable management bracket in the aforementioned direction between a first position and a second position. When the sliding cover is in the first position, the sliding cover at least partially covers the slots. When the sliding cover is in the second position, the sliding cover at least partially exposes the slots.

Claims

1. A cable management module suitable for accommodating at least one cable, comprising: a base; a cable management bracket connected to the base and including a plurality of slots arranged in a direction, at least one of the slots being configured to accommodate the at least one cable, the cable management bracket including: two side walls, each including a plurality of first recesses; and a top plate connected between the two side walls and including a plurality of first cutouts, each of the first cutouts being aligned with and communicating with a corresponding first recess in the two side walls to collectively define the slots; and a sliding cover slidably connected to the cable management bracket and configured to slide relative to the cable management bracket in the direction between a first position and a second position, the sliding cover including: two limiting portions extending in the direction and slidably connected to a corresponding one of the two side walls, at least a portion of the two side walls being located between the two limiting portions; A cover portion includes a plurality of second hollow portions; and a plurality of connecting portions, each connecting the cover portion to one of the two limiting portions, wherein adjacent connecting portions together define a second clearance portion, the second clearance portion being aligned with and connected to a corresponding one of the second hollow portions; wherein... When the sliding cover is in the first position, the sliding cover at least partially covers the slots, and the second cutouts are offset from the first cutouts. When the sliding cover is in the second position, the sliding cover at least partially exposes the slots, and the second cutouts are at least partially aligned with the first cutouts.

The cable management module as described in claim 1, wherein each of the two side walls includes an upper edge and a lower edge opposite to each other, the upper edge being connected to the top plate, each of the first recesses being recessed from the upper edge, and the sliding cover further includes: two grooves respectively disposed on one of the two limiting portions away from one side of the cover portion and in a barb shape, the lower edge being at least partially located within the corresponding groove.

The cable management module as claimed in claim 1, wherein the cover further comprises: a plurality of sub-covers arranged along the direction and respectively adjacent to at least one of the second cutouts, each of the connecting portions comprising: a first sub-connecting portion extending at least partially along the direction and connecting to one of the sub-covers; and a second sub-connecting portion connecting between the first sub-connecting portion and one of the limiting portions, the first sub-connecting portion and the second sub-connecting portion being L-shaped.

The cable management module as claimed in claim 1, wherein the top plate includes a first end and a second end opposite to each other, the first end and the second end being arranged along the direction, the cover includes a third end and a fourth end opposite to each other, the third end and the fourth end being arranged along the direction, and the cable management module further includes: a locking element disposed at the first end and configured to lock the third end when the sliding cover is in the second position.

5. The cable management module as described in claim 4 further includes: an elastic element that is elastic in the direction and connects the base to the fourth end.

The cable management module as claimed in claim 5, wherein the top plate includes a guide groove and an inner edge located at the second end and defining the guide groove, the guide groove extending in the direction, and the sliding cover further includes: a mounting portion disposed at the fourth end and at least partially passing through the guide groove, the elastic element connecting the mounting portion.

The cable management module as described in claim 6, wherein the base comprises: a first sub-base connecting the second end to the two side walls, the elastic element connecting the first sub-base, the first sub-base being configured to abut against the mounting portion; a second sub-base connecting the first end to the two side walls; and a base extending in the direction and connected between the first sub-base and the second sub-base.

The cable management module as claimed in claim 7, wherein the cover includes at least one opening located at the third end, and the locking element includes: a fixing portion connected to the first end; a pressing portion protruding from the second sub-base; a spring arm connected between the fixing portion and the pressing portion; and at least one locking portion disposed on the spring arm and configured to at least partially engage with the opening when the sliding cover is in the second position.

The cable management module as claimed in claim 1, wherein the cable management bracket has a first cross-section, the sliding cover has a second cross-section, the first cross-section and the second cross-section are respectively perpendicular to the direction and at least partially U-shaped, and the sliding cover at least partially covers the cable management bracket.
